Surprisingly, and perhaps slightly luckily, we're unbeaten in August. Looking at the fixtures for September, I see no reason why that can't continue, though it probably won't....

Bradford (H) - Win
Peterborough (H) - Win
Doncaster (A) - Draw
Wigan (H) - Draw
Port Vale (A) - Loss

8/15

I'd take it

Fleetwood (a) - cagey 0-0 draw
Burton (a) - lose. We've never beaten them in the league, and they've started very well
Scunny (h) - win. Narrowly and fortunately.
Millwall (a). Win. They seem to be doimg a decent impersonation of Orient (minus the IItalians) at the moment.
Shrews (h) - win. They seem to be struggling a bit.

Another 10 points will do...

Carlisle JPT - Loss on penalties assume we will field the reserves after a tough few weeks and we always go out of this on pens!
Wigan - Draw they've hardly set the league alight yet but are a decent outfit so will be very tough.
Millwall - Win always seems to do well against them at home and fancy us on current form
Bury - Loss - Popes bound to score
Fleetwood - Win
Oldham - Win

10 points would be nice here!

Your only loss will be to us? :bl:

No chance. We're hopeless.
We've won 3 games in 22. We have a good month though on paper against teams we tend to do well against except you guys. Convinced our first win will be Shrewsbury, at this rate I reckon them and Blackpool will be the only two sides to finish below us this season!

I predict we'll pick up points away but lose most at home.

Been predicting the home form will turn around for two years now. It's clearly not going to happen.

God knows. Everton aside we've looked pretty impotent this season and defensively suspect so far.

Scunthorpe JPT (A) - LOSE
Shrewsbury (H) - WIN
Swindon (H) - LOSE
Blackpool (A) - WIN
Gillingham (H) - DRAW

7 points from a possible 12, would be happy with that.

Oldham (H) (JPT) - LOSE, we're terrible in this competition.
Barnsley (A) - LOSE, tough place to go and unfortunately can see us going home empty handed.
Southend (A) - DRAW, like us they're also struggling to get going in a new division.
Crewe (H) - WIN, we really should be beating teams like Crewe at home if we want to have any chance.
Blackpool (H) - WIN, same as Crewe.
Rochdale (A) - LOSE, hardest game of the month for us in my opinion.

7 points and a defeat in the tinpot cup. Reasonable.

Oldham (H) (JPT) -DRAW and win on pens
Barnsley (A) - WIN , Everyone will think home banker Barnsley players and fans .
Southend (A) - LOSE, another 1-0 defeat at Southend
Crewe (H) - DRAW
Blackpool (H) - WIN, got to win eventually after 5 home league games without a win (includes Plymouth home defeat final game of last season).
Rochdale (A) - LOSE, since winning 7-1 at Rochdale in 2001 I don't think we have won there since, always seem to lose so cant see it changing.

7 points which may be a tad optimistic with us on 2 points from 5 games, but small steps

Carlisle (H) (JPT) - WIN - routine win by a few goals, wouldn't give a monkey's chuff if we lost though.
Wigan (H) - DRAW - low scoring draw.
Millwall (H) - DRAW - low scoring draw.
Bury (A) - WIN - low scoring win.
Fleetwood (A) - LOSE - low scoring loss.
Oldham (H) - WIN - low scoring win.

Shrewsbury H - Draw
Millwall A - Draw
Scunny H - Lose
Crewe A - Win

Don't think we are far from a bit of form. Looking the table we've had a tough set of matches to start with and only lost 2. Could of had 4 goals at HT last night, striker to come in today and keep Bentley should give us that little boost we need.

Draw, win, win, win as well as a bonus win away at the rearranged Sheffield United game too. Football is so predictable.

Lost at Colchester but beat Donny. Not a bad months guesswork.
