Well that was entertaining. Preston a team with a lot of gamesmanship in them, knew to get at forestieri and it worked, bad on his part for reacting, a lot of little shoves and pulling that the ref didn't deal with. Penalty for our 2nd was a stone Waller but we went down to 9 men as a result as Buckley was been patched up for a good 10 minutes, keeper wasn't even booked. Preston came at us got one back and in truth I think in the circumstances they'd have equalised if not for their own players fighting each other and evening it up. Well it was entertaining if nothing else but we got 4 injured and one sent off so not the best of days despite the win

'Wednesday fan here. Stayed behind after the match for my lad to get Autographs and pics from players.

Preston players were coming out intermittently and chatting to the PNE fans milling round and then Doyle came out with the knob that is Ben Pringle laughing away.

One of the Preston fans who looked a respectable guy in his mid 40's shouted at Doyle he was a 'disgrace' to which he got abused by Pringle. He once again shouted to Doyle was a disgrace to which Doyle said to the fella he had better watch his fookin back in future. Nice.

Plenty of witnesses and the guy made a point of waiting for Grayson and the Assistant to report his threatening behaviour. The Assistant did not sound surprised about Doyle and Pringles behaviour at all and asked him to put it all in a letter to him.

Interestingly the Preston fans gave Beckford a decent reaction when he came out.

Would hate to imagine any of our players showed that disrespect to fans as Doyle did.

Bizarre game and don't think our 9 men would have held out against 11.'

Didn't happen imo. Some Wednesday fan spreading shit. Every single player will have been under strict instructions to not talk about it and not doing anything stupid. None of them will have gone out and said anything like that at all.

Well that was a strange but entertaining game, thought we deserved the 3 points overall but never really got going for long spells. First 10 minutes were great but then it took us until Forestieri was sent off to get us going again. Ben Pearson is a little prick for that but 1FF knows he shouldn't raise his hands to another players face. After the sending off we defended well and didn't give Preston much of a sniff, we go and win a penalty and Fletcher sticks it away. But in the penalty incident Buckley's shoulder popped out of place so he required 10 minutes of treatment while we continued with 9 men against 11, genuinely think if Beckford and Doyle hadn't had their little handbags incident Preston would have won that game. Haven't got a clue what Beckford was thinking running up to Doyle like that because he didn't play him through, Doyle is getting more hate from PNE fans because he's a little shitter than Beckford but neither can go off like that on the pitch. Few injuries yesterday but a good 3 points before a big game at Reading next week.

Beckford's banned for at least 3 games now though and then in that time will most likely get injured again.

He's our best striker when fit but the problem is since Wembley that hasn't been very often, he's out of contract at the end of the season anyway and not a chance that will be renewed now.

It's not going to happen and there has been a massive overeaction but I can't stand Eoin Doyle and would love us to rid ourselves of him.

it wasn't just pushing and shoving tbf, maybe not punches throw but there were hands raised which is what he'd already sent Forestieri off for in the same game so he couldn't only book them really.

The highlights misses a fair bit of it off mate but you can still see Doyle try and throw a sissy jab at Beckford. Forestieri was sent off for a lot less.
