WE (swindon) really need to win this just to stop the POX bragging about how many times they have beaten us on the trot, it is getting embarrassing and beyond a joke!, as usual there will be the dickheads from both sides trying to confront each other, huge police presence with the horses and dogs raring to go.
On to the football, we are really chit, no passion, no pride and no idea, so with a load of loanees that have no idea how much this game means to the Swindon Faithful, it should be a Pox victory! especially after their great result against the Geordies.
But i just have a feeling that we just might pull something from the bag and scrape a victory,
Crowd could be about 10000 as the pox have sold out their allocation, but with fans now realizing that Power, Chairman and owner, is asset stripping the club, we have lost nearly 1500 fans in half a season and there is a lot of apathy amongst the rest of us.

Could be ugly. Only hope is bringing in at least one striker and a central midfielder who can actually tackle. Atmosphere is on the verge of toxic, more than conceivable that Sunday could tip many fans over the edge. Losing 4 out of 4 derbies would be highly humiliating and the final straw for many.

Getting my ticket tomorrow, won't be dull whatever happens.

The difference between the 2 is that Oxford have reinvested the money from player sales and we haven't. I can't remember a time when we've had so much money come into the club via player sales and the POs and end up getting replacements from the bargain bucket.

We've been had over by Power, as many suspected we would from the start. You only have to look at his previous business history to see he rips out all he can before legging it - why would a football club be any different.

I would happily take relegation if he leaves. A club I've supported for 40 odd years is crumbling - and the worse thing is, I don't care any more. We'll get beat by Oxford and I don't even care about that.

Fuck the lot of them.

I hope we don't have to expend too much energy tomorrow or I can see this game being after the lord mayors show.

Look, you could field a team of one-legged women and you'd still win.

Hoping we rest plenty for the Abomination Trophy tomorrow. Good that they will be playing in front of an near empty stadium as well as it will help bring the players down to earth after Newcastle.

Can you still park in the estate off of Drake's Way or does it have parking restrictions now? I know we've got St Joseph's for parking but just trying to check for alternatives/back ups.

Cheers.

You've won on Sunday as Darren Deadman is reffing the game, according to our forum, based on his performance vs Wimbledon where he let them get away with pretty much anything.

One of our fans has described him as 'one of the absolute worst refs ive seen' also.

Swindon and Oxford fans unite to burn him at the stake?

Pissed off fanbase. Just cos it's Oxford it's not going to make the stayaways return. Be lucky if the crowd is 9000.

Loyal supporters, when your club need you, when you are teetering towards relegation and your local derby is your chance for the atmosphere to make a difference you can't be arsed.

Surely loyal supporters are the ones who go to the bread and butter, dross games at home to Port Vale and the likes and don't come out of the woodwork to go to the 'big' games?

Anyway I can't be arsed and my attendance will have no bearing on whether we win, lose or draw on Sunday.

What happens to your extra 2,500 that turn out at the Kassam, never to be seen again?

I hate to agree with an Oxford fan, but very much this

This thread won't be of any interest until Eric Read comes on and tells tales of Oxford taking over the Town End and how we'd all better be careful on Sunday or suffer a shoeing.

Tbf, Eric is trying to keep the rivalry alive despite the recent meh-ness from our end about the fixture. I used to feel just like him, but now I honestly don't care that much. Even if we somehow fashion a win on Sunday I won't be crowing that much.

Fully expecting another defeat, though.

Can only see a Swindon win off the pitch

I genuinely miss his input.

Look at that big area in the middle available for fans. You don't get that at many football grounds.
