Playing L2's most boring team really doesn't create much excitement.

No doubt we will turn up and go through the motions of playing but I can't see much enthusiasm being generated.

We will probably lose - but who cares.

I just knew nobody was interested - not even me.

Now for something really interesting.

At 3 a.m. this morning I was woken by a crashing sound. Thought I had burglars but no. A picture hanging on the stair wall had fallen off for no apparent reason. It had been there for a couple of years.

But then gain - it is spookey day??

I knew it would be boring - missed a penalty (again) hit the post and only 27 shots on goal.

but we did score though for a change - five times away from home.

Two opposition sent off - first one dubious - second one - Michael Tonge should be banned for 10 games. A vicious foul.

Oxford the best side I've seen this season, laid siege to our goal almost from the word go, only a keeping error allowed us to level. With 10 men I thought we battled well, although Oxford still the better side, after the second red it was just a question of how many. Disappointing afternoon.

Also McCombe should never be in the side, an absolute liability, we've got Wells on the bench, why the **** isn't he playing.
