Agree, was interesting enough but considering where they left it they needed to set stuff in motion. Looks like next week may be picking up again.

No, of course that bald middle-aged Italian American in prison isn't a bad guy. Christ, how cliche.

Still this season looks to be jam-packed with Louis/Harvey scenes which can only be a good thing.

What did everyone make of episode 2? I still don't feel like we've gotten very far after two episodes.

Also does anyone know if there are any plans for a season 7?

Initially I didn't think they'd keep Mike in prison for very long, but now I'm starting to think otherwise; partly because I'm not sure how they get him out any time soon, and also where does his character go from there? He can't practice law anymore can he?

Then that begs the question, how successful will two seasons of Mike being in prison actually be? I'm not convinced it'll be great.

I've watched it up to now but was begrudgingly sticking it out last season. An episode and a half into this one and I'm walking away. Predictable, repetitive shite.

This Mike in prison angle hasn't really worked at all has it. In fact, I think Mike's been written into a really weak character as has Rachel - they're just both so unbearably fucking tortured but honourable till the end, it's a bit nauseating when opposed to Harvey, Jessica and Louis who are all quite flawed, selfish but ultimately good. The scenes where Rachel shows a bit of fight (woo strong women, you go girl) are just awkward because then you've got her being an emotional wreck of a wallflower 2 minutes later because Mike's been out the picture for a couple of weeks.

This season seems to have reached an impasse now, Mike can get out! Wait no here comes a speedbump...*Harvey stands behind his desk with his hands in his pockets and then suddenly RAISES HIS VOICE IN FRUSTRATION WHEN SPEEDBUMP IS REVEALED*.

Same again next week.

That finale was written like the show writers thought they had 10 episodes left and then were told a week before that 'nope, wrap it up guys in 45 minutes'.

So Leonard Bailey walks and that arc has no sign of a conclusive ending, he gets off cos a dead drugged up witness said he was innocent 10 years ago. I can see the ruling of a mis-trial but if that's the ending of that storyline it's very un-TV-like. 2 kids dead, never mind, Leonard said he didn't do it. I was 90% convinced the pay-off was going to be that the father did it.

Bye Jessica. She had a flashback for the first time and then 25 minutes later she doesn't want to be corporate lawyer - pls ignore the 5 1/2 seasons of her being the strong black woman with a chip on her shoulder intent on power and control

Big Stuuuu/Stu-Dog/The Stu-ster - bought loads of shares in that company becaaaauuuuuussssseeeeee.....?

Big Bad Wolf Sutter, the baddest man alive, fear this m...*knock knock* Harvey will take this house off you mate - Sutter agrees to ring everyone and apologise less than 5 seconds after the threat. CRISIS AVERTED

I can see them just sticking to the consultant part to start with at least, Mike struggles to find a job for a few more weeks, crisis at the firm conveniently at the same time Mike & Harvey make up and Mike asks if the job offer still stands.

I now live with my girlfriend and had to watch an episode last night. I could launch back into all the poor things about the show that I've highlighted previously but instead, here is a portion of the episode I watched:

Donna was spending her lunch literally having a conversation with a robot version of herself. Its called "The Donna" and is supposed to be an AI-based personal assistant based on her best character traits.

Now, I appreciate this isn't a premium show but that is a remarkably bad piece of writing.

This season so far has been an abomination. Time to abandon ship.

For some reason I got out of the loop at the end of season 6, this doesn't sound too promising to come back to.

There's potential for a great drinking game:

Drink every time:

1. Harvey says something along the lines of "Then get the hell out of my way!".
2. Mike has the "AHA" moment and realises how to break the case.
3. Donna walks down the hallway like its a catwalk.
4. Jessica tells someone to "Just get it done".
5. Lewis looks up.
6. Rachel questions her career choice/progression.
