Well no but I would sooner have our squad. But I think most fans like their own players...

Agree with that last line, we finished above you last year and strengthened so expect to do so again but think both will push for the play offs.

Don't think you'll do badly at all. Both sides have strengthened and us massively. Obviously we've still got potential to fulfill but if you look at the market value of our team it's very high (largely due to having young British players). We're going in the right direction now. Young players with improvement to come and re-sale value. Average age of our likely 11 on Saturday of 23 so it's just a team we can get behind which is nice. We'll do best when everyone is going in the right direction so if we can get off to a good start, get the fans right behind the team, we can finish top half at the very least.

Boro to win. Sheffield Wednesday to get play-offs. That's where my money is going, outside of that I don't know. I certainly don't see us as shoe ins to be fighting for promotion, I can easily see us finishing midtable and Bruce leaving before Christmas, there is just not a good feeling about the club at the moment.

If that does happen, can we have Odubajo back?

We've got more chance of finishing in the top 3 than the bottom 3.

And that's despite losing today.

I genuinely believe we have a chance of winning it this year. I would argue that our first XI is the strongest in the division, and will only become stronger once we've added a couple more faces (Andre Gray & Shaun Maloney seem likely) and Snodgrass and Diame return from injury.

Once the window shuts, I would expect the team to line up something like this:

GK McGregor
DL Robertson
DR Odubajo
DC Dawson
DC Davies
ML Clucas
MR Elmohamady
MC Huddlestone
MC Hayden
ST Akpom
ST Gray

Very strong team with the likes of Meyler, Aluko, Snodgrass, Diame, Taylor, Maguire, Bruce, etc. in reserve, and that's without including Jelavic and Hernandez who still remain unsold.

Yeah, I'd heard that. Then I saw him play superbly and score an absolute belter today.

Very promising!

To be fair at least you only forgot the most uninspiring drab team in the division.
I passed some of your lot the other day, looks like they were already on their way up to Blackburn.

I have no idea who Clucas is but that does look quite strong. It's good to see that most fans reckon Hull will be in the top 6. Good omens.

Just like the rest I have no idea who will go up so I'll say Boro, Derby and Hull (in no particular order).
