We are looking to buy a Tablet and I was wondering what you lot would suggest at the moment? My partner mainly wants it so she can talk easily over webcam with her family, I've always seen them as a bit of a waste of time as I love my laptop but after playing with the "Galaxy tab A" a bit in the shop I think I'd quite enjoy it.

I managed to steer her away from buying an Ipad as I assumed that they would be more expensive like the phones and I generally don't like the operating system. Is that right or am I just being Biased? Her only reason for wanting one was because her family all have them and use facetime but they also have Skype so I guess that will be fine.

Anyone had the "Tab A"? My partner liked it straight away and it seemed a good price at £199 in the shop, I've seen it cheaper elsewhere. Are there better cheaper options? We'll mainly be using it for skype but I can see us using it for a bit of gaming and streaming which I assume it's fine for.

Just thought I'd double check here as you guys usually know your stuff. :)

I've always been an iPad man but since I recently sold mine, I've grown to like the Hudl or the Amazon Fire. They are fairly cheap but do the trick!

Any help appreciated, my wife has a Samsung Galaxy tab 3 7.0 and i am trying to connect it to the tv, but the only HDMI cable i can find for this only fits the 8.0 or 10.1.
I have searched everywhere but no luck.
Does anyone have one of these and if so, is there any way around it that you know of?
Just found an app that lets you watch the latest movies for free, and would much prefer to watch them in 42 inch rather than 7 inch!
Thanks in advance. :)
