We usually lose on the odd occasion I make a match thread on here. 8 defeats in a row would just be ridiculous though wouldn't it? Vale aren't doing great but they're not in the bottom 4 so we might scrape a point. If Adam Hammill can work his magic again that is. And if Oakwell isn't underwater by 3pm.

Should be looking to win this but Page is so negative well no doubt lose.

Need to get on the front foot and get early goal to dent their confidence and get their fans on their backs but imagine we will come for a 0-0!

Lose this Page will be under huge pressure.

Difference between the two clubs. Your manager will be under huge pressure despite a middling start, ours will coast along despite our worst run of results since the late 50s with a budget/fanbase bigger than most in the division. Although I think if we reach double figures of losses in a row the axe will finally fall. Hopefully we'll draw/win today and I won't have to consider that.

ADAM HAMMILL IS A RED!

First game I've looked forward to for a bit.
Same. Someone who actually runs at people AND gets a shot away unlike every other winger/midfielder we've used this season.

Crickey AJLS has scored! Not only that but a header! Sounds like we've been really negative on the road again which is stupid against a side in this form!

Twice this season they've let me down for decent money on my bets (£125 today and £305 previously).

All Lee Johnson's fault. Surprised he's struggling, he did a decent job at Oldham.

Overall Barnsley looked the better team but we scored possibly our only 2 decent efforts and defended well so deserved the win.

To be fair we've dropped points when the better side (Crewe, Gills, Posh) so nice to get a smash and grab for a change!

Actually played alright for once and still lost to another fairly poor side. 8 losses in a row in the third tier, with a loss to a non-league side in the middle. I don't understand how any team, at any level can be this unbelievably shit. Our CEO claimed it had to be "top 6 minimum" this season. How's that looking now you fucking div?

And the fans still barely voice their frustrations at games. People were clapping at the end. Clapping an 8th loss in a row in League One. They can all fuck off and die. Same goes for our players. And manager. And anyone else involved with the club, including the tea lady.

Having seen the highlights, super header from AJLS for the first, second was a great run by Moore going the length of the pitch although their defender failed to put any tackle in.

Barnsleys goal was a bit a freak one with Yates clearance cannoning off Duffy into his path but pleasing with our two best defenders out in Purkiss and Inniss as that was last seasons weak back four there with Streete not involved either.

How did McGivern do? Seems to be improved lately since being given a chance possibly with the chance of making Euro 2016 if he can get bank in NI plans.

We lost nine games in a row a couple of seasons back, after which the chairman turned down the manager's offer of resignation.

Not a prayer he'd resign. Why resign when if you lose your next couple you'll force the club's hand to sack you and get a massive pay off because the fuckwits in charge gave you a 3 year contract?

For each of the last 4 seasons I've thought how can it get any worse? Surely we'll get a team and manager that aren't complete and utter dross? Should have envisioned this total clusterfuck, it's the BFC way.

To be fair Page managed to nearly get us relegated after being on 48 points with 11 games left and was kept in a job so not all clubs are quick with the trigger.

Weren't Vale fans all loving Page earlier in the season, telling us all you were the second coming of Brazil 1970?
He has phases to be honest at the start of the season we were playing some great football and had the cup run but injuries to key players and bizarre away tactics have stalled us a bit, in fairness though our home form has been superb and hopefully we can use Saturday as a start to improving our away form.

We're the opposite. Good away and horrific at home.
