You want to know who the biggest clubs are? There is only one way to find out...

mc62a.jpg

1. Hull Tigers - 902,000
2. Fulham - 695,000
3. QPR - 606,000
4. Cardiff - 440,000
5. Leeds - 324,000
6. Reading - 262,000
7. Birmingham - 243,000
8. Bolton - 234,000
9. Wolves - 233,000
10. Middlesbrough - 219,000
11. Nottingham Forest - 217,000
12. Blackburn - 213,000
13. Burnley - 182,000
14. Derby - 173,000
15. Charlton - 163,000
16. Sheffield Wednesday - 145,000
17. Brighton - 113,000
18. Brentford - 100,000
19. Ipswich - 68,000
20. Bristol City - 61,000
21. PNE - 49,000
22. Huddersfield - 31,000
23. Rotherham - 26,000
24. MK Dons - 26,000

What have we learnt?
1. Hull are the biggest club in the league and Assem Allam is a genius. The rebrand of Hull City has helped the club close in on 1 million Facebook likes.
2. Burnley have more likes than number of people who live in the town.
3. MK Dons fans do not like (ha, get it?) things which are older than the club itself.
4. Facebook "likes" are not the most reliable indicators of a clubs size. Twitter followers anyone?
5. I am extremely bored (cricket can fuck off).

Thank you for your time. I have wasted some of my own, it is only fair that you waste some of yours reading this shite.

I'd like to point out just how impressive our ratio for attendances to Facebook likes is.

At last! A table in which Birmingham City are higher than us. Congratulations!!

And. Proof that telephone lines have now been installed on Teeside.

How must Rotherham fans feel that they only have 1,000 more likes than MK Dons who have only been a club for 11/12 years. Devastating I imagine.

Surely quality of output is more important than popularity?

No, I would say the opposite. Despite your social media team's best efforts, you still have nearly 850,000 less likes than Hull Tigers who clearly don't give a fuck; that does not say a lot.

Or you could say that the amount of likes represent a tenth of the whole population of Rotherham, where we compete for fans with 4 other local clubs a stones throw away from each other, so its actually quite good.

The content posted on social media matters to me. The number of other people reading it does not.

That is a typical, small club mentality. This is about club size, not personal enjoyment.

I have been inundated with PM's requesting a table of Twitter followers so here you go...

1. QPR - 281,000
2. Fulham - 257,000
3. Hull Tigers - 198,000
4. Reading - 153,000
5. Cardiff - 151,000
6. Leeds - 133,000
7. Nottingham Forest - 124,000
8. Wolves - 118,000
9. Burnley - 116,000
10. Derby - 105,000
11. Birmingham - 102,000
12. Blackburn - 87,200
13. Sheffield Wednesday - 84,000
14. Middlesbrough - 77,200
15. Bolton - 75,300
16. Brighton - 54,600
17. Ipswich - 52,000
18. Charlton - 51,700
19. Bristol City - 51,700
20. Huddersfield - 42,800
21. Brentford - 39,900
22. Preston - 36,500
23. MK Dons - 36,500
24. Rotherham - 29,500

What have we learnt?
1. QPR are the biggest club in the league and Assem Allam is a fool - his rebranding of Hull City has caused them to only be 3rd in this table.
2. Burnley have more followers than number of people who live in the town.
3. MK Dons fans are more receptive to things newer than the club itself.
4. Rotherham are fucking tinpot.
5. Twitter "followers" are not the most reliable indicators of a clubs size. YouTube subscribers anyone?

20. Burnley - 3,396
21. Rotherham - 2,439
22. Huddersfield - 2,211
23. MK Dons - 2,041

What have we learnt?
1. QPR are the biggest club in the league and Assem Allam is a fool - his rebranding of Hull City has caused them to only be 12th in this table.
2. Burnley's earlier results were deceptive.
3. MK Dons fans do not like YouTube for some reason.
4. Brighton & Hove Albion are an embarrassment as I couldn't see how many subscribers they had.
5. YouTube "subscribers" are not the most reliable indicators of a clubs size. LinkedIn followers anyone?

P.S. No, fuck off.

Where are the Vine and Instagram followers? You can't conclude the size of your club without those.

You've forgotten Vine :eek:bama:

What a ridiculous idea. The amount of Vine "followers" a club has proves nothing.

LinkedIn Followers
1. Nottingham Forest - 3,916
2. Fulham - 3,515
3. Birmingham - 3,083
4. Blackburn - 2,700
5. Brentford - 2,415
6. Sheffield Wednesday - 2,145
7. QPR - 2,071
8. Bristol City - 1,936
9. Preston - 1,739
10. Derby - 1,724
11. Huddersfield - 1,494
12. Bolton - 1,278
13. Wolves - 1,237
14. Cardiff - 1,169
15. Reading - 1,148
16. Brighton - 1,036
17. MK Dons - 1,034
18. Charlton - 994
19. Ipswich - 951
20. Leeds - 872
21. Burnley - 674
22. Rotherham - 424
23. Hull Tigers - 272

What have we learnt?
1. Nottingham Forest are the biggest club in the league and Assem Allam is a fool - his rebranding of Hull City has caused them to finish bottom of this table.
2. MK Dons fans like LinkedIn despite it being older than the club itself.
3. Charlton, Ipswich, Leeds, Burnley, Rotherham and Hull Tigers are all tiny clubs.
4. Middlesbrough seemingly have no representation on LinkedIn whatsoever, shameful.
5. LinkedIn "followers" are not the most reliable indicators of a clubs size.
