No needed for team names in thread title, as everybody will be watching the tippy tappy home side against the hoof ball merchants.

Must be odds on on seeing a red card, most probably for one of the touch line brothers.

Home win will be most appreciated.

Score draw the most likely outcome if you look at the stats.

Mansfield have only lost twice at home this season whilst we have the best away record in the EFL. Unusually, we haven't done too many clean sheets this season (Tuesday was only our 10th), but have scored in 23(?) consecutive games now and unbeaten since Boxing Day.

Three decisions for DC to make. If Shackell is fit after missing Tuesday, does he bring him back in, in place of Bolger? CM partnership with O'Hara in superb form, Pett putting in a good performance on Tuesday but then there's O'Connor and Freck? Rowe or Rhead?

Draw will do me, a win would be a huge leap towards promotion.

Gilks

Eardley
Bostwick
Shackell/Bolger
Toffolo

Anderson
O'Hara
Pett/O'Connor
Andrade

Rhead/Rowe
Akinde

Have a feeling we’ll lose this. Sounds like Preston is out injured still, Don’t trust either Jones/Atkinson at RB/RWB either.

Time for our big players to step up here, They owe us a performance.

Will be a tough game but few teams get much at Mansfield, burys last defeat came here.

Ultimately our seasonal choke has meant the game is much more important to Mansfield than Lincoln and it’ll be down to us to make the running.

I don’t doubt if we’re on top form the win will likely come, but as mentioned before games are close between us.

Having to be a sky wanker for this bit will be interesting to see how they present it. Hopefully Evans won’t be a pundit

Where are Lincoln weak? Maybe CJ could run away from one or two of the oldies.

I think this will be a close one but fancy Lincoln just slightly.

Lack a bit of pace in the middle of the defence.

Pett should keep his place, he was superb on Tuesday. Mind you, Oldham pretty much threw the towel in after half time. Centre mid is his spot.
Agree, about the score draw and will gladly take it.

A draw is relative to what MK do, if they lost a draw with you would be welcome

Preston being out is a big problem, their pacey winger in the game at Lincoln was firmly in his back pocket.

The difference between the 2 is that Lincoln will go up, our aim is also to go up, not finish 4th and lose in the playoffs - that would be a failure, flitcroft can’t afford another one.

We’ve the side to get into the top 3, we’ve got to ensure we follw it up

We have two pacey wingers, Anderson on the right and Andrade on the left.

If we had our usual back three of Pearce, Preston, Sweeney I would be very confident we would nullify the penalty bloke, and the JCB digger bloke, without one or possibly two of them is a huge blow against top of the table.

We do have the side to get promoted but only just, ridiculous amount of injuries to vital players recently.

Both of them were pretty average, can’t remember which one, whichever plays down the left.

It’s madness how many injuries we’ve sustained in comparison to Lincoln bury and MK. Hopefully we’ll get a break soon

Sometimes it isn't luck, whilst some injuries can't be avoided a lot can due to good sports science and good, intelligent management.

Yeah, rose being beaten up at Newport has little to do that.

It’s not an excuse, it’s circumstance. Had green got injured at any stage of us winning the conference we’d have screwed, it didn’t happen and we got lucky.

To be fair some of our injuries have been due to nasty challenges like on White and Rose but even Flitcroft has alluded to the fact that we have been training on 3G a lot due to the new training ground pitch’s not being quite ready as expected which might have caused some issues.

These two clubs are a bit bizarre really because there can't be too many teams who have more success at the away ground in league games than at home.

I mean, when did we last beat Mansfield at home in a league game and vice versa? Or at least there haven't been many in recent years.

Vale and Crewe! We hardly ever lose there and they never hardly lose at VP!

2005 or 2006 I think was last we beat Mansfield at home.
Seen us win there 5 or 6 times.

I remember Lincoln winning 3-1 early that season I think.

You did the double most seasons back then, granted we were terrible back.
Nearly everybody beat us regularly between 2011 and 2016.

We were absolutely terrible bar two seasons, Lincoln have had a tough time against Mansfield recently, even when you thought that win was finally going to come Mellis half volleys it in the net in extra time!

I could tell that late equaliser earlier in the season really hurt, three particular Imps on here refused to post on the match thread afterwards!

Anyway I don’t think it will be a draw, 2-1 either way.

Guilty
Did hurt but one game doesn’t make or break a season.
Always nice to beat a local rival especially in what is now a pretty big game, probably more so for you guys with the chasing group closing in.
The 96th minute equaliser against Exeter seems to have got us going.
