Three year deal for Leon Clarke must be costing Bury a fortune. If he plays like he did with us he will score a lot of goals down here.

If we go bust we go bust. I've accepted a long time ago that will be a possibility in the next 5 years. Plenty of Non-League clubs to follow. We've needed a big man for a while. Let's hope he compliments our other strikers.

He seems to score goals at this level.

We now have a strike force of, Lowe, Clarke, Dudley, Rose and Hope, with Nardiello still mulling over a contract. I do fear for the amount of football the younger player will get, though hopefully someone like Hope can go on loan to one of the smaller local teams to get game time, like Rochdale or Wigan.

Interesting. Centre mid and a goalkeeper and I'll be very interested.

Leon Clarke is a superb L1 player, would have scored 25-30 league goals had he not left us that year for Wolves.

Bury should get a good reception when they come to Roots Hall, Peter and now Leon Clarke returning. Peter Clarke held in very high esteem at Southend, was given a superb reception on his first return.

Oldham, what a boring, non-entity town and club. Intent on signing racists and rapists

Shouldn't Oldham fans be belittling their main rivals Man City?

That's five ex-Wednesday players at Bury now, my new second team.

I can see why the league two posters were happy to get rid of you.

Why was UTS banned? Was he the loon with a selfie as his avatar?
He's convinced that nobody likes Bury because of that hooligan problem they did last year. I didn't even remember about that until he mentioned it. I also have very little against Bury other than them being a local league one rival and have no axe to grind with them. I just think they should be slightly more worried than they are having been in such a mess a couple of years back. This article makes grim reading.

p.s Leon Clarke is a great player for this level.

Jordan Clarke, Tom Clarke, Nathan Clarke and Billy Clarke all awaiting the call from Flitclarke to return to the mothership.

And your club shop needs a spell-czech. Duh!

Tom Clarke laughs at all other Clarke's from a great height.

4froale ... we do not have our eyes closed ... the last Bury megaFRED shows this. However, we can whinge and moan, but have no real chance of having an impact ... or we can go along with the ride, enjoy it, and hope it all work out.

In league 1 he's been decent. Luckily we're in League 1 so I think we'll be alright.

He's just a cheap left footed Sodje...No thanks!

Our flicker likes to sign left backs...He has signed 6 in 18 months...and Goalkeepers..5 in 18 months....and and and...Bascially..the minute they don't have the correct "synergy" they are BYE BYES..

He won promotion...if he had not he was BYE BYES himself! He will be given a target of play offs this term

Possibly the most commited player ive ever seen at BP, you'd love him for his passion alone. He's actually very sound positionally, and we did well with him at centre back, but he's not a natural footballer. There's a lot of swings and misses and hoofs in to touch when he looks like he has miles of space. I would of been fairly happy to see him stay on reduced terms but he wasn't worth the wage we were paying him with his injury problems.

More commited than Nick Henry? Andy Holden? Andy Barlow? you certainly jest!!!!

If he scoops at a ball twice..he will be subbed and never seen again...Flickers expects every player to be better than he was and NEVER make a mistake..it appears!

I remember my hero Glenn Hoddle saying it was " difficult to coach players who are not as good as you were" (paraphrased)...and he "had to remember these players were at swindon..not Tottenham, for a reason"..

It appears Flickers and Brass look at it from an ivory pedestal of their perfect tackles and famous own goal ..any player not at 100% at every kick..control..pass..throw...gets a shout of "huff puff blow yer house down"...They coach by verbal remote control and this..IMO..stops players relaxing and thus producing their own "game".

It appears that Tenerife is a goer...but is not a "fan event" as Mr Day had promised after last seasons trip...ah well!!
I would state that after next week...there will be an announcement regarding pre-season and the need for behind closed door training to keep "trialists" secret...again just my opinion ;)

Anyhows.. up the shaggers..40 plus on their way to that there lake Bled...and probably 100 plus at teh Cortina (joke) concert tonight...

Oh..and our Gemma looking at mortgage fraud on emmerdale...How very Bury :)
