Will you be sticking around here? It would be a shame for you to just signup and post a link. :pond:

If it's the first option, you're more then welcome bud.

I'm sticking around. I usually watch Sussex football (it's kind of easier, I live there), and the reorganisation of the Sussex County League means that the Sussex Nomads forum is closing down at the end of the season, so I need another distraction. This looks a good bet.

I've been watching Non League for years. Bishop Auckland as a kid, Kingstonian when I moved to London, then Crawley Town when I moved to Sussex. I write purely because I enjoy it- I have a day job- and although WSC and Late Tackle, amongst others, have featured my stuff, I tend to just post it onto my website for people to read. Spread the love.

Good luck with it, I've had a bit of a nosey. Welcome to the forums anyway, we don't mind topical links we just have to be a little careful as it's not uncommon for new users to simply post one and then never be seen again! Non-League section is pretty active so hopefully you'll enjoy it!

Edit: Almost forgot! We're actually launching a blog section here shortly- so just incase you wanted to get your writing out there on another platform, it may be of interest to you.

Good read that. We've had the same stadium announced as far back as I can remember who every week rolls out the same cheesy lines and terrible jokes. The worst being the statement that the winner of the half time competition gets a million quid or a season ticket, whichever's cheaper. It wasn't funny the first time Richy, never mind when you've heard it week in week out for 10 years.

Thanks- I have experience of your announcer as a Crawley Town fan, and I thought he was quite funny. Mind, I've only heard him once!

Good article although you forgot to mention the grounds where whatever the PA announcer says just comes out garbled and incomprehensible.
