At a game!?? Bit of fun during this boring spell of no football.

For me this season away at Swindon was up there, got to the pub at 10 and there were a few City there who were already falling over, I was then laughing at them not knowing I'll be in the same state only a few hours later. Even now I have no recollection of the escort or even the first half of the game! Only towards the end of the game I started to sober up.

Cracking day out! Over to you boys?

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Might as well have stayed in the pub than waste money on a game you didn't even for the most part see.

It's all part of it for me. We were that bad last season I can't recall 50% of our away games, Had some cracking days out though. The best being Cambridge away. Steadily drinking on the bus on the way down, Found a pub had a few more and me and someone else were quite merry so we were singing something daft like there were 9 million bicycles in Cambridge, thats a fact

By the time we got into the ground we were 1-0 down and then about 10 minutes later they scored again, Baring in mind they hadn't won at home in almost 3 months at this stage we fucked off. Found a pub, Jagerbombs were 2 for £4. On the way back to the bus we went into Tesco to buy a crate and ended up giving a can to some fat local and all singing some Irish song in Tesco car park!

From August to May, 07/08. Absolutely spangled the whole season, I was that pissed I imagined we got relegated with a record low of 11 points. Things you think when you're drunk eh!

Went to a Leicester game once and fell asleep, got woken up by Waghorn scoring a 94th minute winner then had to walk all the way back to the train station, bought some chips from the chip shop right next to the station (which is a superb chippy by the way), ate about 3 chips and then dropped them on the floor whilst trying to get some money out of a cash machine because we were getting the train back then going out (I was considerably worse than my mates as you can guess). I then got back and got thrown out of the SU for trying to sneak a pizza in under my jumper and refusing to hand it over to the bouncers.

Don't usually drink at football because I enjoy away matches without it. A sociable pint drunk at a leisurely pace between parking up and going to the ground is enough for me if I get there early and am twiddling my thumbs a bit.

Brentford away last season on either Good Friday or Easter Monday (can't even remember)

Got the train at 8:30am for a 3pm kick off, I was drunk by the time we left Euston at about 11:30. Still no idea how I got to the ground or how I managed to get in!

A trip to Crewe over 10 years ago now. Usual drinking on the train, straight into a strip club after the game, or so the credit card statement said...

Away to Leyton Orient 12/13, quite late in the season as the promotion pressure heated up. Train up with mates, pub. Then tube, get off at another pub a couple stops down from Leyton. More there.

We lost the game but I have no memory of it or how I managed to get through London and onto the train back home. Came back to my girlfriend and passed out. She still brings it up every so often.

Blackpool away this season when we won 6-1 was a decent contender. We got up there far earlier than expected and the drinks were so cheap. Also the 1-1 away at Ipswich, a late kick off = extra 2/3 pints and the stress of a 6 pointer.

Don't normally like getting too drunk, otherwise what's the point of watching a game when you don't quite understand what's going on. But sometimes it just kinda happens! Normally maintain a happy medium of a few pints. Head clear enough to think about the game.

I don't drink at games, even if I haven't driven I prefer to watch and analysis the game with a clear head. When I was a student though and England beat Germany 5-1 I drank 18 bottles of Strongbow stubbies in a 3 hour period and ended up going to hospital because my house mates thought I had died, surprising I have little memory of that though.

Too many to remember. Always a bad idea for me to get sloshed watching Crewe away, as it's always a terrible performance and I end up getting angry and turn into a right knobhead. I'm not a bad drunk, it's only when watching Crewe play so badly.

Fell asleep at Oxford a few years back drinking some potent cider. Got kicked out of Sheffield United for thinking it was a good idea to take 3 bottles of beer into the stand after half time, we were 3-0 down anyway.

Leeds away the other week we started at 7am and stayed up 24 hours to watch Mayweather in an absolute state.

For the actual game Burton 2 years ago. Thought we'd lost 2-1 til the day after cos I heard a cheer from our fans (we'd saved a pen) and didn't have a clue we'd had 2 men sent off.

Huddersfield away a few months back was a bad un too. Drinking wine behind the away end for about half hour and I can't stand the stuff. Missed 1, maybe 2 goals.

Went to Bournemouth a couple of seasons ago, got in wetherspoons at 10am (it was evening kick off) we had a few drinks around the town then found a pool hall which were selling pitchers, we got hammered. I was sitting in the ground not having a clue where I was. When we left the ground we jumped into a taxi and asked for any decent pub, he took us to one and when we got into it the Manchester derby was on the tv, we couldn't understand as it had been the same ko time as ours, we then realised we had left at half time.

Orient away season before last. Tuesday night game, spent the whole day out in London beforehand. Vague recollection of thinking I must be pissed when Tyrone Barnett (!) put us 2-0 up and that's about it!
