Bound to get Sweden or Poland, I'm sure there's some sort of contractual obligation there.
Would like the Swiss, Hungary and Albania.
Ita/Swe/Eire is what I think we'll get.

Please not Sweden or Poland...............again. Avoid either of them two and I think we beat any other 3rd seed fairly comfortably.

4th seed wise, I don't think the Irish sides have enough to beat us. I think we'd beat Wales more times than we'd lose as well, it's just the Bale wildcard obviously that makes that worth avoiding.

Something like Russia, Hungary and Albania please.

Iceland and Austria big ones to avoid. But with top 2 and the four best 3rd place finishers going through it really shouldn't matter who we get.

Everyone wants to avoid Poland, why? The last time Lewa came up against us, he was pretty ineffectual. Things may be different as he's having a wonder season, but meh. Do they have anyone else who can cause us damage? I'm not sure. England should win the match 8 times out of 10 at least.

Italy obviously we want to avoid, Sweden, again, meh, the hoodoo is lifted, same for Ibra as above with Lewa. Wales' ranking is above their true ability level. Austria have looked impressive, and could be awkward.

I'm not too worried, we'll have to just see.

they are for 3% a part of europe.
Kazakhstan is partly european, more as turkey (see above)

Some geography and history lesson for you.
3% of a country(Turkiye) which has an area of 814.578 km square makes around 24.437 km square.
The population on these lands(on its European lands) is around 16 million people.
This population is more than many other European countries population.

Istanbul is a wonderful city (which is also heart of football in Turkiye with its 3 GIANTS located at Istanbul)which is both European and Asian (but of course it is European more than it is Asian).

Historically Turkiye is a European country for more than 500 years. Still in countries like Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia Hercegovnia, Macedonia, Kosova (historically)and as a matter of renovation of Europe after WORLD WAR 2 in countries like Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweeden and rest of Europe there are around 7 million Turkish people living.

Turkiye has defended European countries against Soviet Union during Cold War and it has allways been a role model to other countries which have Muslim populations. It is the member of NATO and it has the second largest army in NATO after USA. Turkiye is the only secular country which has a major Muslim population(98% of its population).

It has been the 26th member of FIFA at 21st of May 1923.
It has become the member of UEFA at 1962 (Its membership is older than more than half of UEFA members).
Turkish Super League (Super Lig)is the 7th biggest league in Europe with 551 million Euros broadcasting incomes.

As a result...
Turkiye is a part of Europe geographically, historically and footbal enthusiasm of its nation.

I hope we can talk about just football and its beauty. And there will be no history or geography lesson neded.

you mean Konstantinopel? founded by greeks and conquered by turks?

in which terms they are european? they arent it in cultur, religion and language. they conquered some southern europe countries but that doenst make them european.

half of the americans are of german decent, that doesnt makes the states european in any way. furthermore is India more european as the Turkey, they speak at least a indo-german language.

Anthic Greeks have founded Istanbul but it was 1500 years ago,I do not think any Greek might have any relationship with those anthic Greeks. If we are going to start who founded where then we must change the city names of many places into Turkish from China to India, Pakistan to Afgahnistan, Iran to Iraq, Syria to Lebanon, etc. But Istanbul has been a capital for Roman Empire, then for Latin Empire between 1204 to 1261, then has been a capital for Byzantione between 1261 to 1453.Between 1453 to 1923 it was the capital for Ottoman Empire. Since 1923 thanks God,it is a city of Turkish Republic. I know that Greeks think that whatever Romans did must belong to Greeks but reality is far different than that. Greeks are Greeks, Romans are Romans. Even we have Roman minority living in Turkiye who are Orthodox and who speaks the same language with Greeks. But they call their language Roman language, not Greek language. But Greeks like to call them Greeks. I have a friend working in my company. His name is Giannis and he is happy to live in Turkiye as a Turkish citizen. He allways says the same thing, "I am not Greek, I am Roman." Besides calling Istanbul Konstantinople does not change Istanbul's name into Konstantinople. This just makes our Greek friends funny. Oh, you are also calling Adrianapolis to our beautiful city Edirne, aren't you? :)

It is funny you are talking these. I visit Greece frequently and it makes me laugh when I see our foods with Greek names, our alcholic drinks with Greek names, our music with Greek versions, many of our words which are already a part of Greek language (and this is very normal,we lived together for many hundreds of years). In addition to that Europe has learned a lot from Ottoman Army. The first military orchester in the world was MEHTERAN UNIT(it still gives concerts worldwide)and it even gave inspiration to Motzart during Vienna surrounding of Ottoman Army so Motzart made 9th Symphony (which is also called as Turkish March). Of course, this is a football forum so there is no need to talk about in details about Turkish mathematicians ,astrologists, architectures (Harezmi, Biruni, Omer Hayyam, Ulug Bey, Ali Kuscu, Ibn-i Sina, etc.)who have inspired Arabic scientists and then during the renaissance European scientists.

It is not my opinion, it is a fact. Turkiye deserves to be a part of Europe in all activities historically and geographically.
Enthusiasm can be compared with South Americans, you might be right on that.
