Well hello Shrewsbury, nice to see you again are the wheels flying off? Possibly.

As for the game, can finally breathe very enjoyable game and fair enough the Rochdale for coming to play the game and it made for a cracker. Should have probably won by more if not for poor defending, but in fairness they were well taken goals.

Fucking bout time we win a game, been a long time coming. Nothing to report on the game couldn't be arsed to go, hopefully this is a turn of positive things to come and not a one off.

Dale at home, another coupon buster on the cards as they’ve not won away yet. The only thing giving me hope is that I’ve never seen Rochdale put 10 men behind the ball.
Well they didn’t defend but neither did we.

From what I've seen and heard it seems the ref couldn't be arsed today. Pitch to inspection called so we have take our covers off. Snow a bit and because the covers are off it looks worse than it is. There is still about 3 hours for it to go. However because there was more snow scheduled he decided to call it off and leave before either manager is there. Feel sorry for the Wimbledon fans! Nothing will happen but the Ref or the FL should foot the bill for ours and the Dons losses.

More points lost in injury time again, that’s 7 at least so far this season

Draw probably the fairest result between 2 not very good teams on the day. Lovely injury time winner though as it allowed the pisstake out of the chippy keeper as well.

Darren Ferguson though gave me a bloody good laugh on the radio on the way home moaning about the Ref. Complaining about the ref giving the penalty and injury time being 6 mins when 3 mins were shown.

On the penalty, based on seeing it live, it may have been outside the box but then we had a blatant penalty not given in the 1st half (DF claimed it wasn't but local radio, with a better view, had it as a shirt tug then push by the defender).

As for the injury time, Ferguson is laughably wrong as for 3 minutes of it, the game was stopped for his centre half to get treatment. He also seems to have forgotten that it is a minimum of rather than an absolute number.

He also forgot to mention that his no.9 (Marquis?) should have been sent off for a nasty kick off the ball on Ricardinho. This is after the same player had kneed John Mousinho in the back off the pitch getting a warning, and after the off the ball incident he then went in late on Mike Williamson only again getting a warning.

The Ref was laughably bad for both teams but apparently in 6 games we've never lost with him in charge (which I hope was mentioned to DF).

Here is Ferguson's rant:

Our Chairman has said that us and Wimbledon have made a complaint about the ref.

Was surprised at Burys postponement. Unless they had a totally different climate than the rest of the North West. The thin snow cover here was washed off with mid morning rain and it wasas if it never happened. The snow stopped the ground from freezing. Cant imagine it was too much different at Bury especially with Oldham going ahead?

Wouldn't bother going, you'll lose anyway.

Ha! Even had the gall to have a penalty saved and still beat you!

I wonder if we've turned a corner now? Knowing us we'll lose to Bury next week!

That was taken at 2:15. Nothing wrong at all. Loads of other pictures and videos about 45/60 mins after he called it off.

Disgrace really.

Accy’s chairman was kicking off about late postponements on Twitter. Came up with the solution of having an earlier hard cut off point depending on how far away a travelling team comes from.

Nothing beats Oxford calling off a jokepot cup Tuesday night game about 5 minutes before kick off last season though. Some mad bastards actually went from Bradford.

Looks okay to me.

Some of our supporters went to other matches in the area - Wigan v Fleetwood, FCUM v Brackley and Chasetown v Stamford that I know of - and others spent the afternoon in the pub. At least it wasn't a day out spoilt by 90 minutes of football.

Me? Stewarded at Wembley and saw a load of Stoke hoolies ejected.

Some interesting results yesterday in Lg1, 3 points was vital for us to stay well in the break away pack going Into Xmas, Blackburn n Wigan solidly march on while the Shrews stutter again, Scunny n Charlton seem just as inconsistant as us which Is why I think we'll cruise into the playoffs falling short of 2nd, I feel for Bury today as it looked the worst possible time to have a winnable home game postponed, which could have given them a boost going Into the incoming busy schedule, come on Bury sort it out as I hate any local team to get relegated, but all in all a good day at the office for us, special note to Rochdale today for giving it a real go at winning the game and how football should be played hope you guys stay up also.
Just got in from works do n sobered up and now can't sleep, so thought I'd put my thoughts on yesterday....peace out guys stay safe....

Slightly off topic, but apparently Wimbledon allowed the MK Franchise youth team to travel all the way down to SW London for today's game, before telling them that it was off.

Now I don't like MK as much as anyone else, but that is bad form. Don't bring kids into it.

Considering the lino gave the free kick to us for the goal and then you bribed the ref who gave it to you, it's fair to say you're cheating bastards.

If true, that is pathetic and particularly juvenile behaviour.

TBH no Shrews fan in their right mind would have expected us in the top half, let alone second as Christmas approaches.
And those same fans would have expected Wigan and Blackburn, and probably Bradford to be up there so yes whilst we are having a dip we are far exceeding our expectations so happy days.

I mean, I'd feel bad but if you're travelling the length of the country to justify that competition then you don't even deserve a refund of your ticket money.

Anyone kicking off about the pitch not being covered in snow: doesn't matter, if it's frozen or there's ice around the stadium, it's going to be in danger. Ultimately it's not your job to decide and you probably don't know what you're talking about, so let's just be happy that we weren't the Swindon fans well on the way to Accrington before being told they'd have to drive back to pig hill.

Comfortable win for Ox against one of the smaller sides in the Division, entirely as expected. I didn't go - I don't have a season ticket.

The first match was due to kick-off at 11am. The academy tweeted the the match was off at 10:23. MK should have already been there at that time. My guess is that they pulled into the car park just after the match was called off.

We may hate that club but we wouldn't not inform them.

We're flying now, I don't know what Mowbray said to the players at half time but if he can say the same thing before every game we'll win the league at a canter. Watch out Wigan.

We could've done with your Ref today, the Oldham pitch and playing conditions appeared a lot worse than yours...
