Sorry you had to encounter them SMH, but a few morons don't represent the majority of our fanbase. Have to say there's a smell of promotion entitlement emanating from Wigan tonight.. you might be technically good but we wanted it far more today. The Paul Cook Effect.

As for Southampton, all they can teach us currently is to give us a masterclass in mediocrity and the use of clappers.

edit: should add that I agree you'd have probably won or drawn it but for McGee's saves. It was one of those days that just seemed to go for us

We’ve got many morons ourselves and the kids that support us on social media giving it out behind the safety of their computers deserve all the abuse they get. But the proper fans who travelled down for a televised late kickoff with work tomorrow don’t deserve the abuse they got by a few whoppers who cannot accept that their old manager left them for “greener pastures” regardless of their fanatical support. For what it’s worth though I agree, you did want it more and it showed. You’re also the only team I’ve seen all season that is just as “streetwise” as we are which is impressive. You’ll be a tough nut to crack in the playoffs should you make it.

We lost due to a certain Chrissy Lines having too much mouth. It was even steven up to that point and a draw would have been a fair result. After that incident it changed. Fleetwood a nice little club with decent fans and a bloody good supporters bar.

Plymouth Trust are wanting an investigation into our postponement yesterday.

Do they not get rain down there or something?

I hate pathetic things like this.

Ref calls the game off and opposing fans blame the manager/club for wanting it off.

Because Plymouth would have 100% won the game, no doubt whatsoever and Scunthorpe are cheating by delaying it until they're on better form. It's almost as if some Championship games weren't called off - the weather was that bad.

Pathetic

Think it's a modern thing. Heard it from loads of clubs lately due the spate of postponements. Everyone is 100% convinced that everyone's against them.

well done pompey on that cup final and well played the shit c*** ref robbed! what a massive scalp we are...pitman should of had 4 yellows, was never a pen and the 2nd shouldnt of counted after a clear foul on morsy horrible c***! ref was a joke!!
No class when you lose..... not that long ago when Wigan were perennial strugglers in the 4th division, Wigan owe where they are these days to Dave Whelan and his money, still a small club who better hope you don't get mismanaged by whoever buys Wigan.

Quite funny how you're complaining about Morsy being fouled. There's some irony in that somewhere.

I note that they are getting pretty roundly attacked on Pasoti, so I would not make too much of it. However, as I said yesterday there was an issue with communciation, such as how long it took the club website to announce the fact, that certainly could have been better.

I have not seen any posts complaining about the decision to postpone, that was a no-brainer. Some are questioning whether the covers should have been on but that would, in this instance, have made no difference. The bulk of the posts are about the time it took to postpone, and then the communciation of that decision. That said AFT are making a mistake trying to take it further. If the club offcials have a problem and want to take it up behind the scenes fine (and they do not I think), otherwise we move on. In some ways the decision to postpone helps us, it gives Bradley another week to get back to fitness and is a week closer ot Sarce coming back. What will be will be.

Yeah fair enough on the time, Plymouth to Scunthorpe isn't exactly round the corner either!

It just always reminds me when we played Stockport years ago at home and the ref called the game off due to the awful pitch/weather (he actually tried to report us to the EFL in the end ) :

"COUNTY boss Jim Gannon pulled no punches on Tuesday night as he criticised Bristol Rovers immediately after his side had lost 2-1 at the Memorial Stadium in a rearranged League Two fixture.

Michael Rose curled in County's 67th minute consolation goal straight from a corner-kick, but Gannon was clearly still seething about the late postponement of the original fixture on Saturday, February 24. County swiftly lodged an official complaint to the Football League a couple of days after the original clash was postponed at 12.30pm on the day of the game, but Gannon was determined to make his feelings known on Tuesday.

He fumed: "Bristol Rovers probably feel vindicated now in doing what they did that day because they beat Bristol City [on February 27] and got to the Millennium Stadium. They've also now got this result too.

"But as a professional football club they should be ashamed of themselves.

"They have been thoroughly unprofessional and I hope the Football League take severe action against them.

"If that doesn't happen, I'm going to ask my club to take civil action against the Football League. There has been a clear breach of the rules.

"If they don't come down heavily enough on Bristol Rovers, it's about time some club challenged the Football League and its regulations.

"The breach of the rules has been quite clear. A club is guilty of misconduct if they don't do everything in their power to fulfil a fixture.

"There have been been situations in the past, and there's a judgement hanging over Birmingham City at present for not fulfilling one of their fixtures.

"I think there's been a clear breach of rule 28.1.

"The conduct of Bristol Rovers that day was so unprofessional and it's down to the Football League to take a hard stance on clubs that don't want to fulfil fixtures. In fact the whole game has got to have a serious look at itself because it's being brought into disrepute every week by refereeing standards and the way it's being run generally." "

Gannon was also furious that original referee Dean Whitestone was placed in charge again for Tuesday's game.

He added: "The Football League need to look at themselves when they still appoint a referee who we've already made an official complaint about following the original postponement.

its true just look at the comments on twitter embarrassing set of supporters... they won a cup final today...all buzzing about taking 4 points off wigan...that as made there season...you could feel in the ground it was massive for them...just a bunch of bitter embarrassing fans...cant wait see back of this league its just a bitter league and wigan are the scalp fact! more fans turn up when wigan are in town!!
I think you'll find it had nothing to do with Wigan - more Paul Cook factor, we we're on Sky, and we had won the last 3 games. Put that all into the mix with the team being more up for it than the opposition, was one of the best atmopshere's we've had this season. A little bit of hope goes a long way.

Scunthorpe vs Argyle rearranged for Tuesday 1st May. What a huge game that could be!

Our local all things Argyle journo tweeted saying we wanted to play on 10th April, Scunny said that was too soon (shock!), so the EFL put 2+2 together and put in in f*ckin May.

Means that 4 of our last 5 are now away from home and on the last 2 Tuesdays of the season we face trips to Rochdale and Scunthorpe. If I was one of our fans with the top 6 bets I'd be cashing out after we beat Posh on Saturday!

Our game has been re-arranged for the 1st May as well, as I believe the others from Monday's postponements have.

I believe that's because yourselves and Donny already have games on the Tues 17th April. Neither us or Scunthorpe do. Would have made sense to have it then.

Surely 2 weeks would have been enough time. Very strange decision by the EFL - what happens if there's another weather event and it cant be played on 1st May?

I remember that. Didn't Gas have a Sherpaglasstrade Paint tie against a certain team from t'other side of Bristol the following week, that they wanted to be fresh for?

Dale were at Edgar Street that day, and those of us there were somewhat bemused to be joined in the away end by a coachload of County fans, come to watch two of their ex-players do the business for Dale. Alas, Messrs Le Fondre and Murray were in couldn't hit cows arse with banjo mode that day, and the game ended 0-0... :)

Yeah we had Bristol City on the Tuesday (the game barely managed to go ahead for that too). We beat City and then went on to beat Stockport too which is why I think he go so wound up

Highly unlikely! but if we play like we did on Saturday we have every chance of at least winning the game.

Indeed, I'm hoping we'll at least compete in these remaining games and give it a crack for the play-offs rather than just let the season fade out.
I'm holding you to this post. You've all of a sudden picked up form with the new manager.

Our season officially ended on Monday and with injuries/suspensions we must have about 6 players out roughly (someone will tell me the official number im sure).

So I am fully expecting our annual drubbing on Saturday

Yep, we’ve put in another two very good performances since I posted that so am pretty confident of picking up another win on Saturday and we do seem to be scoring fun.

Here’s hoping

It was 6 injured prior to Monday's game. We then lost Nichols and Partington (who is out for the season). Plus Lines got himself sent off. So it's actually 9  (assuming no one returns).

That's ridiculous!

Didn't know Nichols was injured though, maybe we have a chance at winning then :shifty:

One change for us from the Blackpool game, Whiteman in for Houghton and Butler is back on the bench which is good news hopefully we can breach the 50 point barrier today.
