Never played a MOBA before but it's pretty enjoyable.

Also, I'll be giving H1Z1 a go later. Hopefully it'll give DayZ the kick up the arse it needs.

I'm trying to finish Far Cry 4 but Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is taking up most of my time on the 3DS. Really want to beat the new games I own so that I can go and play through my favourite 1FF titles (VII to X) and MGS games again before Type 0 and Phantom Pain are released.

Just started The Witcher 2. It's the free game on Xbox Live this month, so grab it.

Im between a few games recently, but seem to find myself doing a LOT of Diablo 3 grinding these days...because there is a lot of grinding still left to do I guess! Act 2 level 57 Barbarian on Hell Mode.

I'm on a massive catchup of old games on my old 360 collection before I move to current gen. At the moment i'm focused on completing both Forza 3 and Forza Horizon. With a little bit of Destiny thrown in (currently lv29 and want lv31 before the next expansion comes out in a few months) to take a break from the grind of continuous racing.

Excellent remaster.

AC Unity but haven't really got into it. It seems decent but it's nothing different to previous AC games

Talking of remasters, the Silent Hill HD remaster package for the PS3 is sort of shitty. That's been done to death, though, so I'll talk about my impressions of the second game, nearly ten years after I played the first one.

*Graphics are really dated, but that is not helped by the terrible remaster which perplexingly has removed most of the fog from the game. Still though, I love how pixellated the textures are. Makes the game a lot scarier.

*Combat is clunky as hell. Too used to last-gen games being smooth and easy. Again, though, it suits the intended effect.

*One thing that is genuinely annoying, however, is the lack of a HUD, meaning I have pointlessly died three or four times, so far, just because I wasn't immediately aware of how little health I had left.

*Similarly, I have managed to get a quarter of the way through the game without being aware of the stomp attack. That would have made things a lot easier for me.

*The game really should be played on easy combat difficulty and hard puzzle difficulty. The fights with the mannequins and other beasts are pointless and just get in the way of the story and general exploration.

*The terrible voice acting makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Radio. What's going on with that radio?"

I think although Silent Hill hasn't aged well, it has aged in a way where it's still scary due to the technical limitations and clunky combat. Makes you feel that little bit more vulnerable when up against something a little more challenging than a mannequin.

My girlfriend is playing D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die while I'm immobile on the couch with a jarred neck. It's really entertaining to watch as it's a quirky little detective story. It's free so you should check it out.

Gutted that it's an XB1 exclusive. Made by the same guy who did Deadly Premonition which I really enjoyed. That was strange, to say the least.

Yeah this is very weird, and daft. Entertaining just to watch it being played.

Borrowing Fifa 15 off a mate at the minute.
As with every iteration, it does some things better and others worse.
My main gripe on this one is the computer switching your controlled player when you don't want them to, and all these needless animations they put into the game, such as watching the keeper put the ball down for a goal kick

They seem to take forever as well don't they? The amount of times I hammered the a button to skip the animations and fluffed up a free kick was ridiculous.

Not a huge fan of FIFA 15. Traded it back in after finishing getting all the achievements on it last week.

Same for me on corners, and then you can't skip when someone gets a card

Playing H1Z1 atm, is great fun. A few bugs, but that is to be expected in alpha. The developers are giving regular updates as well, one coming tonight, was one on Friday as well. Only problem I am having is being killed so much.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Vita
Not that far into the game really. Just met up with Eva and found myself some thermal goggles. I'm so rusty with this game. Been spotted well into the double figures. I blame it on all the easy brain-dead TPS games from last gen.

Tales of Hearts R - Vita
Just arrived in a rather big town with huge walls called Straga.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire - 3DS

Just arrived in a rather fancy town, can't remember the name. The gym leader has electric Pokemon which isn't ideal; My strongest Pokemon are all water type...

Far Cry 4 - PS4
Last mission I finished was a Golden Path mission. The one where you have to infiltrate that chemical lab and find the chemist.

The lack of Silent Hill 4 and Origins upsets me.

Every now and then, I go on the PSN in the hope that Silent Hill 4 has been added. Alas, I am always disappointed.

I never managed to complete it on PS2. I can't remember why but I did really enjoy it and then something stopped me half way through, perhaps the disc broke etc.

Just realised I've gotten into the Heroes of the Storm Beta. I'm playing it now and I don't know what I'm doing.

Been playing H1Z1 for the last few days and hours. Fuck me, it is terrifying. Wandering through deserted houses, wondering if there are other guys near, and also having to worry about the zombies. I was searching a house for loot, opened a door, there was a guy behind it and he shot me in the face... Hard to stay alive as there are so many people running around with bows and arrows, but in all, good fun.

Unfortunately these sort of games are just rife with people who like to kill on sight.

I ended up getting a refund. It was okay, and I'll probably end up re-buying it, but for the time being I thought I'd get my money back until there are a few more patches. Although I've got to say I'm impressed with the speed and frequency patches are released. The DayZ team have a lot to learn from such a thing. A lot more atmospheric than DayZ too, helped by the superior sound.

Yep, they need to put some kind of mechanics in which encourage team work, and less random shooting. damage to items when shot at or hit etc would work. I enjoyed DayZ mod, but the standalone is just dull. They have taken so fucking long to get it out, and it still is barely playable.

I read somewhere that Team Silent had effectively disowned it, which I can't understand at all. It fits perfectly into the lore, plays well, stands on its own and had some unique ideas. It's certainly no worse than the huge lore-destroying letdown Shattered Memories which everyone seemed to love.
