Theresa May getting up all angry at PMQs and dropping her papers and saying "WHOOPS" and then smiling like she did it on purpose as a joke...

Does it ever end with this woman? She's like Inspector Clouseau.

Theresa May isn't lying to the electorate and promising things she can't deliver. The government has spent tens of billions on infrastructure projects the country needs and has created tens of thousands of jobs in the process. At the last election there was no money to bribe the public as brexit has put a hole in the country's finances that will take a decade or more to resolve.

Corbyn can talk about how much better he would be as Prime Minister as he isn't Prime Minister. Should he ever reach the pinnacle of his profession. We'll see if he can remain true to his word.

I very much doubt it, given the many promises he's made and the fiscal reality he'll have to come to terms with.

What Keynesian policies have the government enacted that have created tens of thousands of jobs?

Well, yes that’s also a fair question. I’m still reeling from his delusions over who is the actual prime minister.

The UK's economy is the slowest growing in the EU. Slower than Greece. The Tories have been in power for seven years. I don't think economic attacks on Labour have much credibility anymore.

The UK spends a fair chunk of it's GDP on welfare, pensions and the NHS. If it charged a small fee for NHS use, cut welfare and raised the retirement age, the economy would be growing. Although I think the whole idea of an expanding economy is a misnomer. But that's a completely different debate.

Can you remind me which countries will own Hinkley, because it's not us.
To be fair, V's question did specifically ask about jobs, not which tax haven the profits will be filtered through.

Edit: or to phrase it another way, I don't think there's anything in Keynesian theory which suggests jobs can only be created by companies owned in the same country.

The UK does charge a fee for the NHS... are you talking about raising taxes? Fine, good. The retirement age is being raised and welfare has been cut to the bone since 2010. You're probably right about Brexit fucking everything up, which is a shame for us because two thirds of Labour voters voted Remain.
