Your dread is misplaced. Unless you're a leech on this society ( the super rich folk who bleed this country to death) you have nothing to fear. This is about putting more money in our pockets. He was never a really committed brexiteer and has admitted long ago that he used to lie about the EU as a journalist just for good copy. He followed what he predicted was the prevailing wind to back brexit for his own ends. He can now see from within that the entire thing is a clusterfuck and wants out. He can't resign because that would be an admission of failure and also of guilt, so he needs to be sacked. Then he can claim to be riding back in to save the day.

I'm surprised how little attention has been paid to BoJo's situation, I must say. As well as Rudd, Duncan-Smith, Greening and Soubry (all hugely under threat), he was also a bit of a loser at the last election. His majority in Uxbridge and South Ruislip was more than halved to a mere 5k. That is really not a comfortable majority, especially with the sort of swings that London saw (and the latest London poll with changes since the GE has figures of CON 30%(-3), LAB 55%(nc), LDEM 8%(-1)). Would be absolutely hilarious if he were ousted next time round.
