Any team of the season so far that doesn't contain De Gea has stumbled at the first block, he's the standout candidate.

Forster has been the true standout keeper so far this season, easily the best in the division. The fluffy Spanish lad could learn a thing or two about communication and organisation from the big man.

No mate, just not so easily swayed by the MOTD highlight clip creamfests. One of them is a quality goalkeeper, the other is a quality shot stopper.

It's a bit like the Buffon/Casillas comparisons from back in the day. There was never any debate to be had in reality but the handsome latin midget would dive around like a gymnast every week making last ditch stops and people think that equates to being a good goalkeeper. The fact that his defence was, week after week, all over the fucking shop apparently didn't come in to it. That had nothing to do with the man organising it apparently. Buffon didn't need to make desperate lunges 'cause he had that shit on lockdown 99% of the time. He was the ultimate goalkeeper, Casillas was a circus clown in comparison. This comparison, and the one with the clearly superior Courtois, is eerily similar.

Forster has made mistakes in a fair few games this season, they just don't ever seem to be mentioned. I would have at least Courtois, De Gea and Lloris ahead of him this season.

You really can't argue against De Gea this season. He's been superb between the sticks.
I just did mate.

Do you lads also know Forster has conceded the least goals in the league this season? 6 fewer than David De Given I believe. That reaction save he pulled off yesterday was a thing of beauty, fanatatsic concentration.

What was your thinking behind leaving Alexis Sanchez out of your team? I'm just interested, not having a pop or anything.

So that means he's been a better goalkeeper than De Gea this season? No, it doesn't, it means he's got a got a decent defense infront of him.

I'm always the first to argue against great shot stoppers facing numerous shots per game but De Gea really has been superb this season.
