Leyton Orient at home. Would be good to get another win under the belt and up into the playoffs.

Big welcome back for Carl Fletcher.

Big game Tuesday in my opinion. Be nice to go to St Aimless on Saturday following on from two home wins on the bounce. 2-1 Plymouth

We’re starting to show some consistency with 1 defeat in 6 league games. Danny Mayor back for this one. Hopefully another 3 points before the trip up the road Saturday.

2-1 Argyle

I'm so excited by us at the moment that I'm going to get down to the game for the second half.

Normally I don't do evening games as the wife works until half 8 and I live about 20 mins from the ground, but I've not been to a game since 28th Sept and I'm missing us be brilliant.

Will leave the 3 youngest (who'll all be asleep anyway) with the eldest for 15 mins whilst his mum gets home from work and I make my way to Whaddon Road to no doubt witness our first defeat in 8 games - and 17 games at home...

Oh, and we’ll get dicked. Three away wins in a row would just be silly.

Bradford Away, probably our dullest fixture of the season as we've played them 8000 times in the past 15 seasons and they are probably the best in the league so going to be very tough.

Would take a point... we've been leading in 5 of our 7 away games and won none of them so kind of getting a bit irritating the Vale away.

We will either battle well and lose it in the last ten minutes or go ahead for a shock victory only to be denied a rare away win in the 94th minute. Seems to be the general pattern. They seem to grind out wins and we seem to grind out away points or narrow defeats so odds on a close defeat.

Scunthorpe away, we are having an indifferent patch and need to get back to winning ways. A confidence boosting win please before the great unwashed pitch up on Saturday

Stevenage at home. On paper we should give them a footballing lesson but recently we haven't been that great. We'll probably either draw 1-1 or turn the corner with a 2-0 win.

Need to bounce back against Scunny. I suspect 3 or 4 changes.
Long old poke though, it's almost as if they want us to be knackered by Saturday

Curle will get his win

He won’t. It’ll be 1-1 or 2-2.

It’ll be a dire performance in the real world, a smash and grab point, but in Pressley’s fantasy land it will be another amazing performance. The board will fall for it and it will buy him another month.

Someone shoot me now. I can’t take anymore of this shit.

Hellogregory predicting a better result than me? Are we in some parallel dimension?

'12th place finish at best' Grimsby at home. Adam says that any side looking to go places should be beating them Mariners.

Grimsby are coming from an 0-4 reverse to Orient, while we're still on a high after that 4-0 win over Exeter, so I can see why some U's fans are expecting another win. I don't know, our home record is still poor and I guess the Grimsby players will have a point to prove after that heavy home loss.

I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 win or a 1-1 draw.

Another Tuesday night in Plymouth for us, hoping we'll give Plymouth a slightly better game than we did in the cup 8 weeks ago.

3 wins in a row for us and both teams are 4 unbeaten, so I think this could be an exciting game. Would happily take a draw, would expect around 300 of us to make the trip.

We may make one or two changes to freshen things up a bit.

6 weeks ago, we lost Lee Angol to a hamstring injury, we all thought where the hell will our goals come from now? We've not stopped scoring really since and now have the joint second best attack in the league.

If Fletcher can just make us better as a team at defending, we can hopefully be safe by New Years and can aim a bit higher in the second half of the season.

For no logical reason whatsoever I’ve a feeling we’re gonna win at Cambridge.
We’re completely out of form and we always play shit at Cambridge too so it should be a routine home win but League 2 is never that straightforward.
2-1 to the Mariners.

I’m losing the will to live watching us at the moment. We’ve been the best in the league and the worst - initially I thought it was down to a raft of injuries, but now, bar one, we are all fully fit my digit is beginning to point towards Wellens.

Thought Swindon would be doing better tbh, good squad on a fair budget but seems not at the minute.
Not really convinced by Wellens, not sure he's shown too much in either of his jobs so far.

Tbh I enjoy being above Swindon as it means I can rub quite a few work mates noses in it, I can be quite annoying apparently.

We're at Morecambe btw. Don't often do too well there, but they seem to be pretty poor and we're playing fairly well, if we play like we did for an hour on Saturday we should win.

They and Crewe are by far the best teams I've seen this season. If not for Doughty's red (completely deserved it was btw) I have no doubt Swindon would have gone on to beat us.
