I've never been to a NLD. I feel sick watching it on the telly let alone being there.

Though this time around, we're going to smash them. We're better all over the pitch and in flying form.

They've got a better striker. And keeper.

Can't call this, both teams are showing great form and resilience just now, but I think there will be goals in it, so I'll sit on the fence and go for 2 - 2.

Do you honestly believe Harry Kane is a better striker than Giroud?
Do I believe the saviour of the English game is better than a two-bob Frenchie?

No. No I don't.

Alexis is out. Same team Vs Villa will play. Still plenty of firepower and more than enough to put spurs to the sword.

Gutted Alexis isn't available but we've still got more than enough to get a decent result.

Giroud
Ozil - Ramsey - Cazorla - Walcott
Coquelin
Monreal - Koscielny - Mertesacker -Bellerin
Ospina

Bench: Szczesny, Gabriel, Chambers, Gibbs, Flamini, Rosicky, Welbeck

Looks fairly awful to me unless you were being sarcastic.

Sanchez, Wilshere, Chamberlain and Arteta all missing.

It's not as strong as it could be by far, but compare it to that of about 2 seasons ago and it's a definite upgrade. Players that can make a change.

Wenger's 45th NLD tomorrow - only six defeats so far. That's phenomenal.
I only found out about his record v Spurs last year, unbelievable.

What happened with you towards the end of TFF btw?

I got banned. Was never given clarification as to why. Maybe I was a bit too 'real' for some. Maybe they couldn't deal with the fact that I was opening people's eyes. Freeing them. Undermining the fucking orthodoxies of the powers that be, flipping their in-the-box paradigm with that most devastating of weapons - the truth. Gnawing away at their authority until the people of TFF looked up and, what's this? We see clearly now. Emperor's new clothes. The admin were naked all along, just as ridiculous and alone in this crazy world as the rest of us. Maybe they didn't like that.

Or maybe it was because I repeatedly called Pangle a "c***" in the shoutbox. As I said, I was never given a reason.

Eriksen is the only player who might get into our starting eleven at this moment in time.

Ospina
Bellerin - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Monreal
Ramsey - Coquelin - Cazorla
Walcott - Özil
Giroud

0-3. Walcott x2 and Ramsey. I'm optimistic, obviously, but I have a healthy respect for the dangers Eriksen, Kane, and Lamela can present. I just think we're stronger defensively and the dynamism of Özil and Walcott can shine with Cazorla dropped deeper in midfield ala City.

It wouldn't surprise me if Rosicky begins in place of Walcott, but I prefer to bring him on around 60 and let him run like mad for the final half hour.

The problem is, no one knows what Lamela is going to turn up if he's selected. One game he's unplayable, both attacking and defensively brilliant, the next game every time he gets the ball he gives it away with a misplaced pass, a shit shot cutting in or over running every attempted dribble followed by a lunge resulting in a yellow card. He's up there with Adebayor for us.
Yeah, I agree. He has the talent to make our defenders more cautious, but he's also liable to be invisible if we dominate midfield. I just don't know who Pochettino starts with Eriksen and Chadli.

Out of curiosity, who do you see making an NLD XI provided everyone is fit? I'd have Lloris, certainly. Perhaps a CB to partner Koscielny? I much prefer our wing-backs. If I drop Cazorla into midfield, I'd have Eriksen in a trio with Alexis and Özil.

Go on then, who else would you have from Spurs in a combined team? You could argue Lloris and Kane but Ospina has 4 clean sheets in 5 Arsenal appearances and Giroud has done very well this season despite only making 14 appearances.

Kane over Giroud is bonkers.

There I am, getting involved in one of these mad arguments.
