Should be our biggest away following of the season for one of the more local derbies. Hoping we can keep the momentum going and grab all 3 points. Will put a tenner on Lowe to grab a goal too...

I think we'll stick with 4-4-2 in the diamond again. Seemed to work really well on Saturday. I think we'll look to try and be really positive and play the 3 strikers again, Vernon and Clarke had excellent games so deserve to stay in the side.

Tranmere 1-3 Shrewsbury

We really need a Shrewsbury win here, I'm not so confident in ourselves getting anything Tuesday night so the last thing we need is Tranmere winning aswell. 0-1, Lawrence pen!

I haven't taken enough medication to start contemplating this yet.

I too will be seriously peed off if Shrewsbury let Tranmere take anything out of this. Assuming both Shrewsbury and Luton win their Tuesday games we'll be looking much healthier in the league, so we definitely could do with a Shrewsbury win - preferably 4 or 5 nil please.

Tranmere 1-3 Shrewsbury

If that's Ryan Lowe you're on about you'd get some decent odds from the bookies for him to score in this game seen as he signed for Bury at the end of last season.

Back to the depressing old Tranmere we've come to expect the last 10 years. After a few months of positivity, the last couple of weeks has reassured us that we're in this relegation battle for the long run. Hopefully the players will be looking to repay those fans who travelled to York and Newport to be treated to what sounded like two appalling performances.

0-2 to the away side.

Same here, Shrewsbury were one of the best teams to come to us this season, Tranmere were one of the worst, hopefully they recreate their performances. Still think Tranmere will get out of it though, enough quality individuals to start picking up results.

One of the worst? You mean there were teams who were similarly bad? I don't believe that for a minute!

Can't see us getting anything from this. 0-2.

We should have won in Shrewsbury and I think we'll pull of a shock and win this one.

2-1

Indeed, we should have held on at Shrewsbury (seems a lifetime ago now), if it wasn't for Clayton McDonald coming on. Anyway, I doubt we'll get anything from this, as we appear to have returned to being shite after two months of false pretences. I still haven't quite got over our non-show at York yet. 0-2.

Shrewsbury are only up there because of their home form, their away form is pretty shite.

It's more us being shite than Shrewsbury brilliant that I'm concerned about, considering we've just lost 2 games against teams near the bottom.

Our away form isn't THAT bad. We've played Burton, Luton, Southend, Plymouth, Exeter, Newport and Northampton away already too.

Infact it's the 8th best in the league and we've played a game less than 3 of the teams above us. A win saturday and we could potentially have the 4th best away record in the division... Amazing turnaround as our away form was diabolical a couple of months back.

This will be an incredibly tough game. There is nobody in this division who should really scare anyone else, but Shrewsbury are probably as close as you will get to that. Obviously there are various connections between the clubs, both on the staff and in the squad at Shrewsbury. Our last 3 performances have been disjointed at best (Newport) and abysmal at worst (York), yet with Mansfield beating Luton last night we really need to avoid defeat - something I cannot see. I think we will struggle and can only see a demoralising 0-3 to Shrewsbury.

I REALLY hope I am wrong.

Well our away form is better than Tranmere's home form, and Wycombe and Bury are the only teams in the top half of the table left for us to play away from home so I am hoping we can find a few more wins along the way!

Regarding our remaining 7 home games we have Exeter and Plymouth to play from the top 10 the other 5 are all below although I suspect we will lose at home at some point before the end of the season!

I don't think this is an easy game to call. Rovers were unbelievably poor on and off the pitch at York and a side featuring 4/5 who are in contention for a place in the starting line-up lost 1-0 to Northwich Victoria in the Cheshire Senior Cup last night. If you're looking for omens, Mark Brown is the same referee who sent off Liam Palmer as we lost 0-2 in the corresponding L1 fixture a couple of seasons ago. However, while if we play as badly as last weekend, a hammering is near certain, I don't think we'll be anywhere near as poor.

Micky Adams needs to look at taking a few out of the firing line, who are underperforming; Max Power in particular, but Myrie-Williams doesn't deserve a start after his lethargy at York. Donnelly should be played up front, not out wide. If things don't start well, there also needs to be a plan B and some swift changes from the manager. I'd settle for a point as a rot-stopper.

Difficult one this, historically we're not that great against teams in the lower reaches of the table. It's a game we really need to be winning to maintain that gap to 4th place and pug pressure on the chasing pack.

The change of formation since the 2nd half at Carlisle gives us more of an attacking threat, but it does leave us more open at the back. Knight-Percival is a huge loss as we lose the balance in defence.

Saying that I'll go Tranmere 1 Shrewsbury 2, goals from Collins and Vernon. Hopefully before the 90th minute this time!

I predict a home win, for no good reason other than no body else is. Would like to see Josh Thompson and Michael Ihiekwe start for Rovers. Think Micky may revert to the 3-5-2 formation for this game and this formation seems to suit Max Power and Jenno.

Good news that ihiekwe is back, probably out best centre back. Hopefully he starts alongside Thompson. Would be very surprised if we played 442 again, probably go back to 451 with donnelly on the wing.

I'll go for 1-1, myrie Williams with our goal, attendance of 6012.

~1,000 tickets sold as of yesterday so hopefully 1,200-1,300 there from Salop in total. We normally flatter to deceive when we take a biggish away following so lump on a Tranmere result :(

1100 tickets sold as of 11pm today so 150 of the remaining allocation left.

Question to Tranmere fans...As it is pay on the gate and the end holds 2200 am I right in thinking fans will still be admitted if the remaing 150 are sold today. I ask because my son who lives and works in Manchester is going to try and make the game if he can get away from work early enough?

Who saw that one coming?!

Thought we deserved the win as well. Laird needs to keep his place in the first team and Odejayi was a header winning machine. Referee was poor both ways again, would have gone mental if that attempt at replicating the hand of god in the 98th minute went in instead of hitting the bar, unbelievable that the ref and linesmen must have been the only ones in the ground who didn't see it.

Need to get another run together now and get away from this mess.

Also hope Demetriou is ok, seemed a fairly innocuous challenge to me but obviously must be bad if the oxygen and stretcher were out.

Demi was rushed to hospital with a very bad injury. Sounds pretty bad. Potentially that's 5 of our first 11 out for the long term. Not a great day.
