Kayal and Hemed looking like they’ll sign for Charlton. Two quality signings.

Kayal confirmed, looks like we have to wait until the morning for Hemed.

That is a brilliant two days for us, 5 decent signings and holding onto Lyle Taylor. Think we are actually going to be very competitive now.

Great work from Bowyer and Gallen once again.

Roland in.

Most definitely not.

The budget he provided is a disgrace, although apparently he finally allowed Bowyer to use some of the money from Dijksteel’s move to Boro’ for wages. The amount and quality of signings are all down to the hard work of Steve Gallen and Lee Bowyer. Let’s not forget that most of these signings will be going back to their clubs in a year and we’ll have to scratch around to build a team again.

Good business for Charlton. Sam Field is highly rated by the few WBA fans I know, they wanted him in the first team never mind going out on loan.

Greg Cunningham signed on loan for the season from Cardiff, pleased with that signing,He's a massive upgrade over Bell at LB.Will be an even better day when Mulgrew is confirmed as going to Wigan, hes well past it now, that will be an addition by subtraction for our defence.

Cunningham a great player don’t understand why he dropped to Blackburn unless it’s to play weekly

My man Greg

As if we didn't even attempt to bring him back, tossers.

Good signing.

We're just treading water this season unless Bayliss and Green turn out to be great.

I smell 14th again.

At least you have some clue as to what team you'll put out this weekend, we have absolutely no idea now!
Could be extremely good, could be an utter disaster. I fear a few more defeats while Johnson builds 'his' whole new team. :(

I actually don't, i'd be making 5 changes from Millwall, that line up is nowhere near creative enough for a home game. If you're trying to nick a 0-1 on the road it'll be fine but if you have to take the game to someone, no chance.

It's been a busy day for Albion. Diangana, a winger on loan from West Ham, started some matches for them last season in the Prem and seems very highly rated; Pereira, a winger from Sporting, and apparently Bilic's number 1 target this window; Willock, another winger/attacking midfielder, ex-Arsenal, on loan from Benfica; and Charlie Austin, in a £4m permanent deal from Saints.

On the flanks we've already got Phillips who is one of the best attacking players in the league, and Edwards who has stepped up from the youth and looked very good against Forest. We've got more attacking options now than we've had for a few years.

I believe we're going to be much stronger this season than last and really fancy our chances of going one better and winning promotion.

It's going to be an exciting season one way or another.

Charlie scores goals! I wish him the best at Albion.

That's not too bad to be fair SF.
It would appear that we're changing our right back, pretty much our whole midfield and forward line since last Sunday! :ohm:
Another example. When we were both promoted, we now have 1 player from that squad that's still at the club and he's injured.
I hope Johnson knows what he's doing.

Did we? The word was £750K yesterday.
Much as I love Marlon, it does appear that his legs are going a bit and he was caught in possession badly a few times against Leeds, albeit a very good Leeds.

Korey Smith? is he ever fit?

In the squad we have Browne, Gallagher, Johnson, Huntington & Clarke left from our promotion season.

Davies was out on loan and Hudson & Earl were in the youth team.

Sounds like there’s some complications with the Hemed deal and we’re having to prove that we did everything on time.

Typical.

Indeed mate. £750k is the first payment, will rise to 4m.

I'm not doing a MagpieBee and inflating our transfer fee just for the sake of making myself feel good, it's being reported by the BBC and BEP this morning.

And yet you claim you don’t have a problem with me?

No inflating from my side. News outlets are frequently wrong, or just report the initial fee.

We've taken Nakhi Wells back on loan for the season. Very happy with him and Hugill as our main attacking options.

Quality signing. I am pretty confident we'll be top half this season. I think Wells, Hugill, Eze, Pugh, Samuel plus a few others gives us good options going forward.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow now.

I've never seen you in this thread insisting you got lower than the reported fee which is food for thought.

No problem at all mate, just think you chat shite sometimes. Don't we all?

I’ve been pretty damn accurate on our transfer business, even when I’ve disagreed with initial media reports or others on this forum - something you yourself pointed out when we initially disagreed on the fee for Bentley.

Yeah we’ve done well, I expect it’ll happen now. It seems you were right about the Bentley fee as well, a bit steep but if he can refind his form then he’ll be worth more than that. If not, we have Maenpaa anyway.
Don’t know why you think I talk shit, but you seem to go out of your way to bring it up for very little reason, maybe just to get a post like this in response.

Anyway, I’ll stop responding to these now, must be very boring for everyone else. There are a few reasons this forum is so dead these days, and you’re one of them ‘’mate”.

The reason this forum is dead is because of the people that own it, not because I and a few others often call you out on the bullshit you post regarding Brentford and transfers that you often are on defensive about.

If you're that touchy about it (and clearly you are) then I'd suggest football forums probably aren't for you.

I can't imagine ever being that sad that your life revolves around getting a few likes of your internet pals.

JJH definitely the type of 'lad' to give it the big in in their skinny jeans and conserve and then shit themselves when somebody fronts them about it.

Forest know they are playing Leeds on Saturday so naturally needed 3 goalies in net

Not recently mate. Did his knee early last season, fought his way back only to do the ankle on his other leg soon after.
A fit Korey is one hell of a player but I'm not sure he can get back again. A real pity as we do miss the bloke.

Reason this forum is dead is because it’s shit.

NintendoGate didn’t help, over zealous Admin didn’t help, constantly crashing also didn’t help.

I wouldn’t blame any members of it just the running & maintaining poor whilst it’s try to get money out of everything

Neither can I, hence why I don't do it.

You're a chopsy c*** on here for someone who consistently acts like they're above internet forums.

I enjoyed your comment about skinny jeans though, can't begin to imagine the state of the bootcuts you knock about Preston in on a matchday.
