Breaking Bad needs no introduction. I didn't realize in November 2018, it was revealed that series creator Vince Gilligan would be writing and producing a two-hour feature film based on his show, with reports that it would be set after the events of the finale, revolving around Jesse Pinkman and his escape from Albuquerque.

Aaron Paul will reprise his iconic role of course, and at this stage, It's not clear if this will be a TV movie, or if it will see a theatrical release. Also stated that production would begin "soon" in New Mexico.

Fantasy Island (Blumhouse have set about turning it into a feature film).

The show originally aired in the late '70s and followed Mr. Roarke, the overlord of a small island, who promises to fulfill the fantasies of his guests - for a price.

Michael Pena has been cast as Mr. Roarke, with Truth Or Dare director Jeff Wadlow calling the shots - and a release date has been set for February 2020. Since Blumhouse horror movies are usually of a high quality (Happy Death Day, Split, Halloween) there's a good chance they'll have another hit on their hands with this one.

Interesting. I remember hearing about it getting made, but I thought it was going to be a new character and their involvement in the drug trade. Jesse's escape would make more sense though as he had some loose ends to tie up, and was probably on the run with all the stuff that came out about Walt after his downfall.

Was just watching the last few series of it again last week. Still so good.

I have to admit i didn't realize a movie was in the pipeline with Jesse Pinkman involved.

Awesome show to watch over and over again, I'm just glad we were spoilt rotten in receiving five season's of Breaking Bad. A true masterpiece created by Vince Gilligan.

Bob's Burgers

The series follows the Belcher family - headed up by parents Bob and Linda - whose claim to fame is running the local hamburger restaurant. The movie was announced in late 2017, with show creator Loren Bouchard saying that the movie would "scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had", while also appealing to newcomers.

The 2020 adaptation will also be a musical, since the show is already renowned for it's rather wacky songs, it makes sense to carry this element over to the big screen.

Dora The Explorer

Considering that the popular TV show has been around for almost two decades at this point, it's surprising that it's taken this long for Dora The Explorer to get the big screen treatment.

The 2019 movie will turn the animated show into a live-action blockbuster, with the likes of Eva Longoria (Dora's mother), Benicio Del Toro (the villainous Swiper, a fox) and Michael Pena (Dora's father) making up the cast.

The film will also age-up the main character, with Dora - who is seven years old in the show - now a high school student investigating a lost Inca civilization. Characters like her monkey friend Boots will also be involved, and with filming having wrapped in early December, it shouldn't be too long before we see some official footage.
