Well, who knows. Bradshaw should finally make his return. Orient have been better recently and picked up a few wins. The squad is good, so if they can put off field issues aside then they have a good chance of an away win here, especially considering we are dire at home and in a run of fairly awful performances. It will be nice to finally get Forde, Cook, Sawyers and Bradshaw on the pitch together - I do wonder if Smith may go with Hiwula and Bradshaw together? 16 goal Bradshaw and 3 in 6 for Hiwula, will certainly cause problems. Smith sounded chuffed with Sawyers reaction off the bench after being dropped on Tuesday so I expect him to start regardless.

O'Donnell

Purkiss
Chambers
Downing
Taylor

Cook
Cain
Chambers
Forde

Sawyers
Bradshaw

I'd line up like that, with Sawyers going off after an hour for Hiwula if/when we are behind or drawing and looking to push on. Hiwula should probably be starting but he's a loan player and if we drop Sawyers/Bradshaw for Hiwula, then what does that say to them for the rest of the season?

We don't do home wins and are cack at the mo.

0-2

Bradshaw is finally back :D

Hopefully Deano bites the bullet and puts Hiwula and Bradshaw in the same team, we might actually look a threat at home!!!!

He and most people seemed chuffed with Sawyers reaction to being dropped on Tuesday, he won't drop him again. Home or not. Plus, as good as Hiwula has been, Bradshaw won't last more than an hour without being knackered or a stretch away from risking it popping again - so bringing him and his pace on after an hour will stretch the Orient defence more. Sawyers starts either way I reckon, but it would be nice to see 2 up top. I'm missing it as I'm off to Brum for a weekend with the lads.

Forde is rated 50/50 so if anyone is out for Hiwula it would be him, Sawyers is needed even if we are playing 2 up front. Could put Hiwula out wide where he can play, or maybe go with no wingers and play 3 across the middle.

I remeber in pre-season we experimented with a diamond in midfield a couple times, that seems plausible.

Which one of our players is going to be "ill" this week, seen as we've had at least one player "ill" most weeks this season for some odd reason...............

And who is this weeks mystery injury going to be?! Probably Andrea Dossena, due to a broken wallet.........

As long as Marvellous Marvin starts in CM for us we shall prevail at Walsall

hopefully not too many changes from last Sat, vincelot suspended apparently, so theres one, Cox likely to start, theres 2, i really hope theres no more than that,
although i wouldnt mind simpson starting up front,
4-1 to Walsall i predict

4 goals at home with only 1 back, is about a 6 month supply of home happiness for us. Won't happen. Big away win coming here, if you can beat Chesterfield on their own patch, you can wallop us.

Lets predict the lineup, I haven't done this for a while as we kept picking up mystery injuries. I don't think Vincelot is suspended yet, so:

Cisak
O'Neill Baudry Lowry Dossena
McAnuff Vincelot Wright Cox
Mooney Dagnall

Subs:
Grainger
Clarke
Sawyer
Bartley
Hedges
Simpson
Henderson

We will pick up some sort of injury though, can't find room for Gianvito Plasmati, Kevin Lisbie, Scott Cuthbert, Shaun Batt or Bradley Pritchard. This squad is 2nd bottom FFS. :gmc:

Awful, awful performance.

Players need a kick up the arse. Adam Chambers, Andy Taylor and Cain all had their worst performances in a Walsall shirt. Only positive is Bakayoko who looked excellent when he came on, properly up for it unlike the rest of the team.

Seriously? Bit of an over reaction.
Who can you see us beating at the moment Jonny? We are still way short of the survival points total so it is a real possibility if we dont start getting our act together. As nice as it has been to get to Wembley it is proving a serious league distraction and papering over the cracks. I m not going to jump on the UTS 'Smith Out' bandwagon but he is very tactically naive at times. The players also have to take responsibility. We've got 11 girls running around the pitch at the moment scared to put a tackle in and risking missing wembley.

I was too hungover and expectant of what happened today so I didnt go and my god I'm glad I saved the money!!! Listening to that commentary was a painful experience. Being at home and to a team really struggling this season and allow their keeper to have a 90 minute picnic is unforgivable.

Well played Orient. The only thing to be annoyed about today is only winning by 2 goals!! Doubt you'll have an easier away game all season. Also got me 3 points in the prediction league so much obliged :)

Our away form is still excellent. If we win at Yeovil on Tuesday the conversation goes from relegation to a play off push again, that's the way this league seems to work this season. 2 losses on the bounce and we're relegation bound, 2 wins on the trot and we're flying to 2 trips to Wembley.

It's silly to say one or the other with this league and this team.

We deserved the win and were the better team on the day, Walsall were awful and I mean awful, one of those performances that comes along every so often where you play so poorly you bearly have a shot on goal, in truth Jay Simpson should've made it 3-0.

Ryan Hedges played well for us second half.

Normality will return Tuesday against Bristol City though.

Deano blaming fans and the pitch, adding to the long list of excuses of his including the sun being in our players eyes.

Still never blamed himself though. Sad to say but when a manager starts criticizing the fans, it usually means the end is near. Even though we have some utter bellends who cheer players off in our fanbase, you can't seriously blame the fans for being a little sarcastic when we are served up that shit for 2 seasons in a row.

In fairness I was only saying it jokingly, but it would be just like Walsall to win the JPT final and have it tainted by a relegation after. It's a weird league though, you can play awful and do ok. We were dire at Bradford last Saturday so it comes as no surprise. Smith is right, sarcastic jeers and cheers literally do nothing for the team - especially in our tinpot, too big silence arena, but sadly it's thats a big NO NO to say to your own fans.

Hello mate.
3 wins in 4 games suggests that something is right at the moment. Surely you can't just be on a good run thanks to the poverty of the opponents. Has anything gone right to justify this good form?

The injuries have started to clear up which is something! Kevin Lsibie was fit yetserday but didn't even make the bench, neither did Shaun Batt or Gianvito Plasmati.

Russell Slade did that last season with us, had a go at a few idiots who booed us off at home once......Not the best idea, it just gets up supporters arses who seem to think they shit gold bricks.....!
