Having said that, it looks like there'll be about 1500 Town fans there tomorrow. With us having nothing to play for and some of the awful performances we've had to put up with lately, our away support never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah I didn't expect anything like that amount with nothing to play for, one almighty piss up for most I expect.
Did you go to this one in 1997 Les? We got there at half time just as Blackpool equalised as traffic getting there was horrendous, their ground looks really nice now but back then it was a total shit-hole. We were awful and very lucky to get a draw.

Yeah, I was there for that one. A rare goal for Lee Nogoals. I also went 2 years running in the early 90's in the FA Cup. They beat us both times and Paul Groves was playing for them.

Yeah we missed Nogan's goal stuck in traffic then when we finally got parked up we were walking down that dingy alleyway to the away end when we heard a massive roar go up and I said either we've brought about 5000 fans or Blackpool have just scored!
I remember after the game we drove down the seafront and I had my Town scarf hanging out the window (as I thought that was 'cool' as a teenager lol) and it was mainly white with only a little black on it and a kid with his dad said 'look dad some Derby County fans', I was outraged haha.
