Pure and Simply stolen from the L2 season - and excuse my curiosity, but it's close season, and it's kicking in already!

The certainties I'll be doing are -

Bolton (A)
Burnley (A)
Blackburn (A)
Hull (A)

Please give reasons for each.

My reasoning for the top 3 are all fairly local, and a hit on 'rivalry' there, as I know fans of all 3 clubs.

And Hull - I like the KC Stadium, so I'll be there.

Got a baby on the way in December so I'll be looking to do as many away's as possible before then + every home game, work permitting.

Hopefully Bristol and Brighton are early on.

Every home game of course.
Away games likely to number a dozen or so. Accessible via train, good ticket allocation, and with some decent away fan friendly pubs. So, QPR, Fulham, Brentford, Sheff W, Rotherham, Huddersfield, Leeds, Birmingham, Preston and Bristol C.
Only new ground will be MK Dons so will tick that one off no doubt.
Refuse to pay Forest's extortionate prices for a shit view so will give that a miss.
I have to say, looking forward to it. The reality, if we'd gone up, would have been no more than a couple of away days.

A good proportion of the away days, less so the home games given my proximity to Suffolk these days.

There's only 7 grounds I haven't done in this league so they are my priority.

Brighton
Charlton
Fulham
QPR
Birmingham
Cardiff
Reading

And then obviously the local games

Burnley
Blackburn
Bolton

Plus the main big stadiums

Sheff Wed
Derby
Forest
Leeds
Boro

The rest I'll see how much money I have at the time of the game

Will do all the London ones, Charlton, QPR and Fulham. Will probably end up doing Reading, Bristol, Birmingham & Ipswich. Then it'll just be about doing as many as work will allow.

Normally do 15 or so aways, probably going to cut that number down a bit so I can afford to see more of the world this year.

All the Yorkshire ones along with Forest, Birmingham and Wolves will almost be certainties. After missing the 3-2 cup game at the City Ground a few years back I can't risk missing one again. Hopefully Brighton will be on a Saturday. MK, Brentford, Charlton, Cardiff and Rotherham are still to be ticked off after being unable to attend the latter 4 last year. Fingers crossed they fall nicely next season.

I've done every competitive game since Steve Evans took charge and a little bit before that, so i'm hoping to do the same again. I didn't bother with Shewsbury Town in the FA Cup one year and that stopped my record before then. 4 conscutive Seasons without missing a game would be a nice little achievement. One Millers Fan has done 25 years I believe, so that would be the target. Not sure if i'll be able to do that though.

I've also done 84/92 League Clubs watching The Millers and that will move up to 85 with QPR coming into the League. Pompey, Newport, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham, Crystal Palace & Southampton are the others.

Meh, I didn't like Molineux. If we were behind the goal I would go but that side stand is a shite view and atmosphere.

The map certainly looks more attractive in this division rather than if we'd of stayed in the Northern bastard of a league below.

I'll be doing all the local/not too far ones:
Cardiff (new ground)
Wolves (again)
Birmingham
Brentford (again)
Reading (again)
Charlton
Fulham
QPR
And maybe MK Dons (again)

And for the further away ones:
Derby
Forest (again)
PNE (again)
Sheffield Wednesday
Leeds (again)
Brighton (again)

And then any that are big games, like first game of the season, or if we need to win to stay up or whatever. Also - if I have more money I'll be doing a few more.

It's going to be an expensive year.

Depends on what I can afford, usually only do a handful per season.

Prioritize grounds I haven't done before, there's a few decent London trips: Charlton, Fulham, Brentford. Hopefully they don't fall on a Tuesday night like they always seem to!

Leeds and Sheff Weds are the big ones I haven't got round to before. Then there's Birmingham which I somehow haven't done despite it being piss easy to get to from where I live.

Oh and the Malaysians of course!

Depending on the circumstances - I'm looking forward to QPR and Fulham, not been to either of those grounds in London before. I have been to Griffin Park twice but not since I was about 8. Reading is a good local one, and Cardiff will be great if we're at the right end of the table.

Very similar record to yourself my longest run was 315 consective matches however that wont be ever getting challenged again i still do most games though. One of our fans who recently passed away had a record of 1 missed in around 40 years and another 1 who hasnt missed since 1979 those records are just rediculous.

Same as me TBH CH96 although there is only 1 club in this league that I haven't seen City play at (Ipswich) so I will do that one unless it's a midweek game.
Even though I have been to the Amex as well as the old Goldstone ground (Gary Shelton 1-0 years ago) and both Huddersfields, I haven't seen us play at the newish 'Boro ground, the KC or Pride park (been there a few times though) so will try and tick them off as well.
I gather Leeds are charging silly prices for away fans nowadays so I will probably give that one a miss but I can see a fair few miles going on the car this season (again!!).
For supporters visiting our building site / stadium, please be aware that tickets are limited again next season for away fans (1600 I think) and they certainly could NOT be purchased at the ground last season so don't travel without a ticket as you won't get in.

Three of the division's newly acquired teams I'll definitely be doing..

Preston - we haven't played them in about a decade, new ground for me
QPR - missed it two seasons ago, hopefully a Saturday fixture
Bristol City - one of the better cities to visit, haven't done it in a long while

Then will most likely do all the other London away days and a couple of random ones up north.

Lot of B's on that list

Also an impressive SIX teams who wear white. Only two elsewhere above non-league, I think; Swansea & Luton.

Family in Preston means a decent chance of making all those Lancashire games (unless they're midweek - ten scheduled Tuesday night league games is going to take some getting used to!).

London ones are a given, Midlands ones depend on cheapish train tickets, and Wednesday, Boro & Brighton will probably be worth a weekend of it.

Should only miss any long trips on a Tuesday night.

All home, and Sheff Wed away the only time I venture elsewhere.
