Delighted with Crewe away, great first away game. Good that Lincoln is towards the start of the season too.

Grimsby, Boxing Day. How many coats will i need?

Also away to Luton on a Tuesday. I think every season we've been here, one of our games against Luton has been on a Tuesday. They were up at Brunton last season to witness our only home goalless draw in the last three seasons while last season we were down there for that 4-3 thriller on a Tuesday.
I can see why they do it, as it just cuts your losses, but doesn't make it right.

What are you expecting at this level? That's not the most difficult 4 fixtures you could have.

Newport home, Crawley away, Morecambe Home, Chesterfield away

Rather than playing a promoted team away, followed by one of the favourites, followed by a trip to a ground that we get battered at every visit and then a local Derby.

Everyone will play everyone twice, its not an issue. Its how you finish, not how you start. If you have difficult games, best to get them out early when they won't make as much of a psychological difference.

Our Christmas fixtures will make or break our season...

Notts County, FGR, Grimsby, Swindon, Port Vale, Lincoln, Wycombe from December to FA Cup 3rd Round day.

Luton home on Boxing Day is a tasty fixture. Expect them to go well this season and obviously hope we do as well.

Carlisle away first up is definitely the best time to have them although always prefer a home game to start.

Barnet away New Years Day - nice.

Accrington home last game - can't complain.

Been very kind to us overall.

Wish they wouldn't put our Vale games in August when they're a bit watered down. Also falls on my annually Vuelta weekend so no Vale away for me.

Anyone know why our game to Newport is "tbc" as to home or away?

Happy with our first game, good away day, although I understand Exeter have knocked half their ground down so it could get cosy in the seats. Couple of annoying Tuesday nighters that would have been good Saturday piss ups, although at least I can get back the same night from Crewe. Missing Notts, Col U and Coventry away whilst in Oz over New Year is a bit annoying but I'll get over it I'm sure.

They're installing a new pitch and have been given permission to play home games away until it's ready.

Don't think we're allowed to play ourselves. Anyway, Carlisle away first up. Have to check me passport is up to date.

Are you saying Carlisle is in Scotland?

Port Vale at home.

Special connection with the Valiants (for us). They officially opened our stadium and were our first opponents in the football league.

Mansfield away may well be our last.

Play Coventry (a) and Chesterfield (H) first two games. They have once again put us and F***** at home on the same Saturday TWICE!
And those close Exeter and Yeovil journeys on a Tuesday night.
Luton at home final game, hmmm!

Really long away trips to start (Accrington) and finish (Exeter) the season with, away on Boxing Day again and Grimsby away on a Tuesay again which is one of the few away games I was hoping would be a Saturday which is frustrating.

I'm sure the Exeter away game on the last day will end up being some stupid kick off time again too.

Away to Luton first up. I don't know who thought it was a good idea for us to have Morecambe away on 30th December before a home game 2 days later on new years day.
Hope we're safe before the last month as our run in looks awful, Coventry (a), Luton (h), Wycombe (h), Notts C (a), Mansfield (h), Lincoln (a)

Notts County away on the last day has the potential to be an epic piss up if we have a good season, one time I wouldn't be at all annoyed to see a 17:30 kick off.

First 5 Games...

Grimsby H - Tasty one that, always a feisty contest between us two, hopefully they'll bring a few fans down...

Notts County A - Bit of a local derby and expect we should take a decent number down there.. Looking forward to that one

Port Vale H - We always seem to beat Vale at the Proact so for that reason alone I'm happy we're playing them in the first five!

Newport County A - Suppose I'm glad we'll be getting this away trip out of the way early on in the season!

Coventry City H - Another good game to look forward to as Cov always bring a good following up here!

I'm quite happy with those fixtures tbh, 3 decent home games and a good away trip to Meadow lane

Love that game when we were moved to a Friday evening, was epic. First time Forest have had a use.

Chesterfield will be happy if they get the same deal we got.

Pleased we've got you towards the end of the season as well, that could be a very big game!

Lovely to have only a handful of Tuesday night games. In our first season in the NL, we only had 12 home league games on a Saturday.

Away at FGR on a Tuesday night, although Cheltenham have to travel up here on a Tuesday night.

Also got Mansfield, County, Grimsby and Chesterfield on successive Saturday's!
LOVE IT!!!
PROPER FIXTURES!!!
No bloody Woking and Dover et al!!!

That's Yeovil at home, we've got Yeovil away bank holiday weekend in August which is pretty good to be fair.

Carlisle away is a shocker, I thought they tried to put local games on over xmas?

We've been given 46 fixtures, including 23 times away from our own patch, playing everyone, twice!!

Is this some sort of conspiracy because we've been chucking around the dollar?

Barnet first up, KMB V Charlie Clough not too daunting a game tbf, will take that.

Exeter and Wycombe over the festive period seems ok, plus nice to have Cheltenham and Swindon at home on Saturdays could well be sell outs.

Last game v Grimsby, gotta feeling we might be the team that sends them down, would be pretty funny if that happens.

Grimsby, Sheff Wednesday, County and Vale in opening 4 games. Excellent for those who love football related violence.

Happy we are at home on Boxing Day too, and also 3 of my 4 new grounds to visit for the 92 are Saturdays so will easily get them done.

Only complaint is i'm in Lithuania for England game when we have Lincoln away, one of the gaes I was most looking forward too.

You always beat us full stop at home! One 2-2 at the Proact and the 5-0 win at Saltergate our only positive results in Chesterfield since 1989... and bar the 90's its not like we've hardly visited!
