He's already told the club he doesn't want to come back. I'd give him a try, but the club see's him behind the main CBs in the pecking order, and he isn't willing to play second fiddle anymore.

Fair play to him. I'd have him as our 4th choice CB in a heartbeat, but he wants first team football. Dean and Tarky both better than him (and similar age) so there doesn't seem to be an easy path for him here.

I imagine he'll end up at a mid-table L1 team. He'll cost a reasonable amount in tribunal fees as he has done so well in L2, so it would need to be someone who could afford him.

Seem to be tentative suggestions that we could be the ones signing Mawson. We're looking for centre backs, and Edinburgh stated that some of our targets were involved in play-offs, so it seems to fit.

Also wouldn't mind us nabbing Wagstaff - local lad and a good League One player.

Millwall fan at work seems to think they're also interested in Mawson.

Agree with the City fans too, I have a lot of time for Waggy but his level probably is League One.

As for us, we've released quite a few and those that are left that I wouldn't mind seeing leave, no-one would buy anyway!

Jamie Jones, an amazing keeper who sadly we just cannot keep hold of as he is surely destined to win the champions league in the near future.

Open to offers ( no less than £5)

Blackman is like HRK in that he doesn't know whether he is a striker, support striker or winger and fails at all. The only differences are that HRK has at least shown something positive before and that Blackman has lower wages. Two of the players who most sum up how bad our squad is, in my opinion.

Add Hope Akpan to the list of players we should get rid off.

I like Hope, think he is far too underrated by our fans who basically just look back at how poor he was last season (2013/14). He was very good in the first half of the 14/15 season and only injury dropped him out of the team, which he has never been able to get back in for. There was a reason why our best run of games all season came with him in midfield, and he got Nigeria call-ups, he was playing well.

Not to mention the fact that we signed him from a team that had only recently got promoted to League One, so his wages are probably much smaller than most of the rest of the squad. Perfectly happy to keep him personally, though that seems like an uncommon opinion amongst our fans.

Think El-Abd will definitely be off as others have said I expect a nominal fee and off to Bury, depending on who we sign Osborne could be off too, or maybe loaned with a 24 hour recall option. Burns and Reid will be loaned as well I expect, although wouldn't be surprised for Reid to be sold if we got a decentish offer. I expect Wagstaff to stay, can play CM (converted to a lesser extent than Freeman) and can be an option at RWB.

As for who others have said would like to see Grigg come in and maybe Saville depending on price.

Would agree with those mentioned already (small squad)...

El Abd/Bad - Utter dog shite. Rated him before he arrived with us too!
Osbourne - Unless there's something I'm missing, only made something like 2 appearances (one up front off the bench). Must not be in Cotterill's plans.
Wagstaff (potentially) - As he's mainly on the peripheral, he'll probably 'struggle' to get games now we're promoted. Would be a shame as I'm a big fan of Waggy. Seems a great bloke and works his ass off. Scores the odd goal too. I'd like him to stay and be given a chance. If he doesn't step up, then he can always go on loan for some football next season, then leave indefinitely :(

Loan out or get rid of:

Bobby Reid
Wes Burns

Both youth players who haven't shown the quality to make it into a League 1 side.

Burns isn't as old as Bryan was when he really started to impact at 1st team level, but Reid is starting to get to the age where he's not cutting it.

I'd like to see Jonathan Grounds and Lee Novak sold in the summer. I did want Spector to be gone as well but he has just a signed a two-year extension :/. We've released most of our deadwood within the last few weeks.
