Has to be Jake Livermore, now scoring for fun with Hull. My mate snorted when he heard he was my hero, but I said that Livermore was not to be sniffed at.

For me I have to say that it has always been Paul "better than Stevie Me" Scholes. A true great.

Gareth Southgate was mine :/ because I never got to watch football when I was a kid until Euro 96 and he represented Villa... He followed it up with some great Pizza adverts.

Got into football in 2002. The 2002 World Cup was the first football I properly watched and I went around telling everyone that I was an England fan and that I didn't support anyone else. So my first hero was Michael Owen and that moved onto Thierry Henry when I got into football properly when I was 10 in 2004.

Eric Cantona for me, as my dad is a United fan so I obviously grew up watching him on the telly.

Either Kevin Keen or Mark Robson. Had some great wide play in the 1992/3 promotion season.
