Looks near confirmed who is going down from the Championship.

Blackpool is a good away day, and it will be interesting to see them play Fleetwood.
Milwall is a trip to London, but will be empty (like every ground down here).
Wigan will be a new one for me, but once again, it will be incredibly empty. Big followings are allowed there.

If we keep hold of second place then I hope Wigan stay up at the expense of Rotherham.

If we stay up, Burton Albion, Shrewsbury and Newport up, and Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall look like they're all going down. although would be funny to see Fulham Relegated.

If we go down hope Notts County come with us.

I guess we may as well assume we will be in the championship next year. Blackpool, Wigan and Rotherham to go down would be ideal with Millwall to stay up for a couple of tasty fixtures next year.

I hope Fulham stay up too as we havent been to Craven Cottage for nearly 20 years. QPR, Villa and Leicester to come down from the prem and Preston and Blades to come up with us.

I would like to see Swindon still in L1 next season, and City, PNE and MK not in L1...

Is that too much to ask for?!

Championship:
I think the current bottom 3 will drop but ideally Millwall and Wigan would be replaced with Rotherham and Fulham.

League 2:
Burton
Shrewsbury
Bury
Plymouth

No point in wishing for the impossible so Blackpool and Millwall are coming down. I'm happy with both of those.
I would love to see Fulham join them but it seems very unlikely now.Not much to choose between Wigan and Rovrum for me.
Wigan is a soulless shithole that never had any right to the success that their chairman bought for them.
Rovrum has that odious fraudster lardarse in charge.
On balance Rovrum I suppose.
I would like to see Burton, Wycombe and Southend come up.
Not bothered about the other team to be honest, though Luton would be OK if they could make it.

Championship:

Leeds United - no reason needed.
Huddersfield - another West Yorkshire Derby
Wigan - nice big away end to fill.

League Two:

Burton - decent away day
Bury - but only if we're allowed to play 'em on a Saturday.
Luton - because their a proper club.
Morecambe - half our fanbase live there.

The more hooligans and nutters in the fan base, the more "properer" a club you are... :D

It will be just our luck Wigan and Blackpool come down and Shrewsbury, Burton and Bury come up and we will go down with Yeovil, Colchester and Crawley, I couldn't think of anything more depressing. Miss out on a decent looking league 1 and go into southern boring looking tinpot league 2.

Assuming we some how stay in here, then I would like to see Millwall, Fulham and Reading down, with Burton, Wycombe, Southend and Luton coming up.

But Blackpool are obviously coming down, Reading are probably safe and we probably won't be here anyway... in which case, Shrewsbury, Bury, Newport and Plymouth can come up instead.

Rotherham down, Burton up would do me though Staffordshire Police may not agree.

For us it's a fantastic away day. A small, friendly town who are especially accommodating to us Derbyshire folk. Not much more than half an hour on the train for us & will be even better if the antics of Rotherham's fans don't cause panic amongst the town's landlords once again.

Burton must be dying to come up, the away end will be pretty much full most weeks next season.
They've probably won more fourth tier points than anyone over the last three or four years.

to be fair we are a sh1t away day, unless as someone has pointed out you like ropey strippers as your pre-match entertainment. That said, in the event we do come up, we have a bottom 6 budget even in L2 so I think it's fairly safe to say we'd be pure cannon fodder (again) in the dizzy heights of the third tier - so probably a decent away day for you on the pitch.

Nice to see nearly everybody wants us to get promoted ! Its great to have a standing area when you're away and get some atmosphere generated. We will probably be a first visit for quite a few teams which should up the numbers of visiting teams too.
Zues, I reckon you are probably right about us winning the most points in league 2 over the last 3 seasons, lost in the play offs to Bradford followed by a loss to Fleetwood in the play off final last season, surely we deserve to come up this season.
I don't think we will be whipping boys either, JFH is very ambitious and the chairman will back him sensibly.
If we make league 1 I expect us lower mid table, just staying up would be great, anything else a bonus.
COME ON YOU BREW----ERS, those of you who have already been to the Pirelli stadium will be familiar with the match day announcer bellowing this out before kick off !

Some shockers hanging around the bottom of the Champ and top of L2. Apart from Bury, Blackpool and possibly Rotherham there's nothing to whet the appetite.

Burton to come up would be good, localish game for Vale, local for me 15 miles away from Burton and a good club, another 7-1 would be nice!

Wycombe is always a decent away day, likeable with a Vale legend in charge and great hosts when we won promotion putting on an extra stand and a beer tent for us.

Shrewsbury is another decent local game, biggest rivalry we've had for a while in the league two days although it was a bit dead last season partly down to the 1pm ko!

Newport would be a first visit for me, don't think we've played them since they reformed, the old club having a bit of Vale history in being the first opponents at Vale Park.

Coming down:

Wigan - not been to the ground and assume we'd take a decent following there.

Blackpool - All but done anyway

Milwall are good as down but would rather Rotherham as generally take six points of them.

Providing we stay up.

Championship :

Rotherham - Pretty local, don't really like them either.
Wigan - Never been to the DW
Blackpool - Pretty great awayday

League Two:

Burton - Not that far away and I enjoyed my last trip there.
Shrewsbury - Good memories there and it's alright to visit.
Bury - I like Hallam Hope.
Northampton - Enjoyable away day.

Bury?! That's one of the worst options in league two to come up!
