Cardiff meet Middlesbrough at the Cardiff City stadium tomorrow night in what could be Solskjaer's last game in charge of the Bluebirds.Cardiff's 'unsteady' start to the Championship carried on last Saturday after letting a 2 goal lead slip at home to Norwich in a very disappointing 4-2 loss.Cardiff's first half performance was by far, their best of the season so far.But conceding 4 in the second half also assured that it too,was Cardiff's worst performance overall this season!
Solskjaer has become under scrutiny lately and anything but maximum points tomorrow night at home to Middlesbrough, could seal his fate.Vincent Tan was supposed to be at the game last Saturday and for Ole's sake,it was lucky that he wasn't otherwise he may have already been given the boot. It's not just the poor start to the season which has made a few Cardiff fans call for Ole to leave, his overall record since becoming the Cardiff City manager in January this year, has been disappointing to say the least. He has only won 8 games in all competitions,in which 4 have come in the cup against the likes of Port Vale and Coventry. From a possible 75 points,Cardiff have only managed 19 under Solskjaer. That is a very poor record.Solskjaer really needs 3 points tomorrow If he has any chance of keeping his job at Cardiff City.
Middlesbrough come to the Cardiff City Stadium having won their last outing 2-1 vs Huddersfield and sit in 11th,4 places above Cardiff with 9 points, one more point than Cardiff. If Cardiff win tomorrow, the pressure may ease on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Cardiff could rise to as high as 6th tomorrow as long as they win and other results go their way. With the money spent preseason and in the transfer market, this Cardiff squad really should be in the top 2.Anything but promotion is a failure. The squad, with vast Championship and Premiership quality really should be competing at the top end of the table and not the bottom.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has asked for the fans and players to react to Saturdays defeat with a positive effect and get the stadium bouncing to roar the players to victory.Solskjaer seems to say the right things but his ever changing starting 11,tactics and substitutions, baffle the Cardiff fans and thats why he may not be the right man.His inexperience as a football manager as a whole really does cross the minds as to how he got the job in the first place. The Championship is a very tough league to get out of and you need an experienced manager.
Tomorrow's game really will seal Ole's fate if Cardiff fail to win.The pressure is on.

This game, really is WIN or BUST for Solskjaer...
