A local well respected journalist has penned a piece in our rag repeating the claim made elsewhere that we have had a 30% budget cut for this season. Given that we were already in the bottom three for budgets, this is alarming. Also surprising given last seasons cup run and sales (thanks Luton)...

We will be fine, just resigned Whitworth for the season. Caldwell has said we will have a smaller squad anyway we had far too many midfielders last season. Probably get a few more in though. We will do our usual 15th dinnae fret

Jake Richards and Harry Lee have both left. No idea where either are going but suspect Jake will go to a Prem academy or championship, and Harry will go to thr National League.

Demi Mitchell signs for Orient. Fantastic player, before he got injured, might have been getting back there. Was also probably one of our highest wage earners so will be freeing up wages for elsewhere. May do well there, if he stays fit
