It depends what you're watching it on though. If you're using Netflix, latency doesn't matter because Netflix will adjust to line/speed changes. It does effect kodi massively if the source of the film is in .rar file packets.

Internet speed is one thing but if your latency is shite it'll make no difference. Do a ping test, you want that to be as low as possible.
