I'd 100% agree with this. They were hilariously bitter once Dean Smith left them for us, and suddenly the manager who had taken them from a relegation battle to promotion contenders was actually not that great after all.
I think 1 in 2 is pretty decent, considering that if you were to just pick home win, away win or draw out of a hat you'd expect to get 33% and things like this can only go so far, as you can't factor in luck.
I'm confused about the criteria they've used to choose the manager of the month and I disagree with your explanation but I'm not losing any sleep over it. No need to try and be patronising.
Reading, like most clubs in the league, have a massive advantage over us with your resources. You should...
Considering the resources of the 2 clubs I'd say that our relative success is much higher than yours, you've outbid us for 2 players in the last 2 transfer windows (Swift and Evans). If you've got lower expectations than us then that's a bit worrying for Reading, and going from under-achieving...
What confuses me is that we (Brentford and Reading) have identical records last month in terms of points, but we scored 13 goals to their 7, conceded 5 goals to their 7 and spanked them 4-1 just last week. How did Stam get nominated ahead of Smith?
This is making me chuckle. Hogan scored 1 more goal than Garner did last season, despite playing in 34 less games. Vibe scored 8 more despite starting only 29 and going through a 3 month dry spell. I wouldn't worry too much about losing him, and if you're not willing to take a punt on a striker...
Sounds pretty similar to what Orient fans were saying before we signed Odubajo. From what I've seen of him (only a handful of games) he's not quite as good as Moses. Close though.
