Anybody who watches their team and travels hours on end deserves credit. Unlike the 6500 regulars who didn't travel to watch Wigan in Swindon yesterday or the 18000 who never bothered travelling to Wigan from Sheffield that don't deserve the credit. I'm all for fans who travel deserving credit.

Boring thread now this. In summary, gillingham have the biggest catchment area for any professional league club but have 4000-5000 fans. They had 50000 at Wembley once and Wigan just over 10000. Wigan support were Wigan fans, gillingham clearly not as that means they have 46000 stay away fans...
