Reading at home tonight
Mousinho has hinted of a few changes, but I don't expect 11. Maybe 4 or 5 from the weekend
I think Yang may get a start and possible one of the new midfielders - Think Kosznofszy may be a little bit ahead of Le Roux. Bishop and Lang will probably be on the bench...
A couple of surprise selections today. Mousinho lying about Bishops fitness, and Murphy picked up a slight hammy strain and was touch and go for the match. Was fearing the worst. We were the more dominant side for an hour. Oxford hit us on the break a few times and Bianchini should have got 2...
on paper and easier start to last season where we had Leeds, Boro, Burnley away... Looks like we're without Bishop for this one, but on the plus side. Murphy is fit and we have a proper back four. Segicic is one to look out for in this match as he has had a terrific pre season. Let him shoot...
Our local news is reporting we're in for Yang of Spurs. Had a 6 month loan at QPR last season and played a few times for Spurs pre season. 19 winger. Apparently also in for Jamie Donley, but hearing he's off to Stoke instead
Beat PEC Zwole 1-0. Waddingham with the winner. Segicic looks a player. Waddingham done well. Sounds like he's gonna have to start next week as Bishop has a groin strain
Currently have depth in most places now. I think we are still another Winger and Forward and potentially a Left Sided Centre back from having good cover in each position.
Massive difference from last season. Bar an mixed XI with a non league side on 4g where we drew 0-0 we've beaten everyone so far without conceding, all away fixures apart from Crawley which got rained off so we moved it to our training ground
Woking W2-0 Segicic, Lane
Farnborough W5-0 Swanson...
We've sold Paddy Lane to Reading and got in Florian Bianchini from Swansea on loan (not sure why its not permanant) Apparently he's a pacey winger/forward. We need some pace. Gutted about Lane, just think he's too good for league one, but probably not quick or strong enough to be as affective at...
Mousinho has said Lang is not for sale.
Pompey’s head coach told The News: ‘It’s one of those (rumours) which always brings a smile to my face, but you could see today that’s a player not playing for the sake of it.
‘You can tell his commitment to Pompey and wants to be here - and I thought he...
Whilst Wrexham are looking to sign Eriksson we've just signed Mark Kosznovszky from MTK in Hungary. 23 central midfielder. Looks to have a decent shot on him. Also apparently South African midfielder Luke Le Roux is signing from the Swedish top division. Our transfers include players from the A...
Probably not, but If Boro can get £5m for Coburn to Millwall, Derby dropped £7m on a forward from MLS. In league two we sold Jamal Lowe for £2.5m to Wigan in the champ. Unless Lang desperately wants to leave then I can't see us letting him go cheaply. He's a top 10 player for me.
Charlton paid £2m for a winger from Blackpool who's been in league one. Asgard had never played higher than league one either. Not saying Lang is a £4m player, but any side wanting him would have to pay over the odds for us to sell him. How much is a midfielder who is more or less guaranteed to...
I genuinely can't see why we'd take any of a side who's finished below us cast offs for our best player. Also theres no way a player can actually agree to move without a fee agreed. The fee rod have to be decent. We have no money worries, don't have any debt.
10 goals from midfield in a side that struggled and missed last 2 months of the season. Would have been pushing 15 plus goals. We paid 500k for him in league one.
