At what point in time did wages get so ridiculous? How can more than a million a week ever be justified as a wage for anyone? Don't you think players would also perform better if there wages were based on performance throughout a season rather than a weekly salary? Also a bit off topic but...

Been lurking here a couple weeks to see what the forum is like and I am enjoying it so have created a account to join in on the banter and conversations. Any recommendations on what threads to take a look at?

One of my mates has just told me they are considering renaming the championship. I think it's nonsense and he couldn't show any evidence but I am interested to see if anyone else has heard these rumors? I think it's nonsense as he is known for spewing out waffle but you never know.
