Your first point is bang on the money.
I want one, of course, but I’m currently on furlough and have no guarantees of keeping my job once we go back to “normal” so buying one is out of the question at the moment.
By the time I’ll know if I’m in a position to buy one there will absolutely no...
£360 for a seat after early bird/reprieve!
I had a sneaking suspicion that most clubs are waiting to see what the situation will be before asking for money. Let alone hiking the prices up.
Has any other club announced anything yet?
Aldershot have been pushing an early bird price of £306 to stand and £338 to sit (£345 and £382 after 8th May!)
Seems insane for me when people are out of work and it sounds like the season won’t start until January.
Anyone else?
I think if we went down and challenged for promotion or won promotion straight away it could re-ignite a bit of enthusiasm and be a good chance for the club to re-group and come back stronger, but if we go down and don't do well then I fear it could finish the club off. There just doesn't seem...
We used to when we re-formed, probably up until the early 00's - We used to take 2,500+ to the finals and once pulled in a crowd of 6,500 for a Hampshire Cup tie against Farnborough. Since we turned full time it's been a competition for the youth/reserves... To my knowledge we haven't come close...
No idea to tell you the truth. He, along with everyone else at the club, was simply not good enough to play for us and I shed no tears over his departure, but the mind boggles at the amount of players we've lost over the past month and the staggeringly few that have come the other way. I guess...
We took a slap at the station after the game... Probably deserved in hindsight
As for Chester, I remember plenty of Shots fans clapping their team off at the end of that game.
What's the script with relegation in the Conf South this season, given that it's running with 21 teams? I'm desperately hoping that Farnborough stay up as playing them is the only remotely interesting thing that will happen if/when we get relegated, but they seem to lose heavily almost every week...
I'd say we had around 100 there. Not bad for a game organised at 72 hours notice - It's a shame really as there was quite a lot of interest in the original fixture.
After yesterday's defeat I'm starting to think that our automatic promotion hopes are over for this season.
I think Barnet have the league sewn up and I don't really mind who wins the play offs, as long as it's not Woking.
