I think he was much more slender framed when he was at Wrexham (if you do a Google image search for him in a Wrexham jersey you’ll see what I mean), which coupled with his diminutive stature probably held him back. Now he’s got guns like bazookas I reckon he wont be able to be bullied off the ball.

It’s just that there are clearly good, young, ambitious players on the way up that could be picked up for a fraction of what you’re paying for players whose ambition must be questioned a touch. Let’s face it, they have moved for the money not the career opportunity. That’s a transfer policy road...

I don’t mean to be unkind, but from the (admittedly not very knowledgeable) outside looking in there appears to be an air of desperation about Wrexham‘s transfer dealings.

Kings Lynn have signed Josh Coulson on loan for a month from us. Good guy, but slooooooow. If you give him a run of games he may improve, as he’s not played for us much recently. You need to play pace alongside him though or you’ll be vulnerable to balls in behind or over the top.
