More than likely.
We fucked our generous run of games in January/Feb and we will pay for that.
To be honest, bit of a downer at the minute pal but i suppose it's not quite done yet.
Thought they'd win today like, now out of our hands. Hopefully Colchester are in the mix now. Two home games in a row coming up and we need 4 points at least from them.
Yeah can't say I'm buzzing about the result really as we keep spaffing leads away and time/games are running out. No way does this side under this manager get relegated if it had been in place longer. We've fucked it this season but a point is a point and even if Crawley hold on here, as long as...
Their March fixtures are much easier than ours but April we both have a mix of hard and winnable. If we're only 2 or 3 points off safety by this time in a month all is not lost. Crawley at The Vic will be absolutely vital.
That's what I'm saying about Askey, you know with him we'll give it a go. Was a bad set of results yesterday, I do think we're favourites to go down, you'd much rather have Crawley's fixtures than ours but you can at least see there is a gameplan and the team looks like it will pick up the odd...
More in jest than owt else, but he does love to keep posting about us randomly for no reason at all.
Stocky mate, just go back out to your soft tennis thing you play and distract yourself. No need to get yerself worked up.
Feels like a defeat defended well all game and then that FFS. Competed well against a good side, they did deserve the draw but we can't afford to let things slip like that.
Whatever happens this season, I'd back us to do alright if Askey is still in charge. He's already making his mark for me...
Depends what you define as good. Some teams are very well organised and have the odd quality player to make the difference or good at set pieces etc. They could be classed as a 'good' team but if you're talking purely in football terms then there's not an awful lot of them. I think I read an...
Best
Orient, Swindon, Carlisle, Bradford.
Worst
Rochdale, Pools, Crawley, Colchester, Newport, Stevenage, Doncaster, Harrogate
Everyone else really mediocre playing the same style of athletic, attritional football that L2 teams mostly seem to churn out
Yep I liked that three, Sylla was class today, like a tinpot Patrick Vieira. He should be in every week, looked fitter than he has been as well. Lots of positives today, defence was stronger but we badly miss Umerah. Another week on the training ground, get some more of his message across, I...
Really good battling display from us, thought there were some good performances out there. Unlucky with the pen and Grey and Kemp missed two absolute sitters to extend the lead mind Teanmere missed a good few chances as well. Point was fair, we need wins rather than draws but another point...
Previous 3 if you count Lee, he had the same turgid style.
Should be a home win but got a pretty good record at Tranmere, wouldn't rule us out especially as it's Askey's first game. I also hope we go 433, but no feckin idea what useless combination of defenders we can muster up for this.
