Match Day West Ham v Man City, Sunday 29th April 14:15

Fitting that a City legend should get goal 100

It was very well reviewed so shouldn’t have been a surprise! Top film though. But Edgar Wright is a cracking Director. I’m currently enjoying Captain Underpants...

Stickied What are you currently watching?

We really enjoyed that. As I appear to be a magnet for weird shit, I'm currently watching Happy on Netflix. A gruff detective goes on a quest to find a kidnapped girl with the help of her imaginary friend - a blue flying unicorn (an alicorn, technically, but that's my My Little Pony knowledge...

    The Coalition of Expensive Chaos

Oh, and it’s also nice to know that the person who can decide on military action without any Parliamentary scrutiny is married to someone who financially benefits from air strikes and arms sales... That’s probably fine, isn’t it?

    The Coalition of Expensive Chaos

So the government don’t know how many Windrush arrivals they have ‘accidentally’ deported, but at least the official government advice to deportees isn’t absolutely batshit insane... https://twitter.com/jimmfelton/status/985928549000466432?s=21

    Congratulations Man City

Loving the footage of Vincent Kompany watching it at his wife’s Gran’s house, with some grumpy United supporting relative in the background. The stuff of some of the players in the pub is nice too. But this is just lovely. https://twitter.com/21lva/status/985584612335382528?s=21

Started watching Shin Godzilla. It’s almost a Godzilla origin story, as the creatures crawls out of the sea and evolves into its adult form. But the proto-Godzilla looked so fucking goofy that it really made the rest of the film feel stupid.

    Laughably Shit Television.

Not a ‘fresh prince’ fan then? I’m not sure Will Smith has done much TV since 1994, tbh...

Not sure we need the racism, TBH, but you be you.

Why? How much did yours cost? Ohhhhh... Nice to get it won without as much stress as in the past! Still a fair bit of football to play, and some records to hopefully break along the way.

Needs an asterisk against this result really. Not fair that Kane didn’t play.

Course he has. As does any player. And hopefully he will improve further next season, and get more clinical. But no one is going to tell me that 22 goals isn’t a great return for a season for any player, especially one who isn’t an out and out striker and, apparently, ‘can’t finish’.
