Is Low good enough to be playing for a team that’s pushing for promotion to the Premier League?
We have a lot of young(ish) defenders suddenly, the problem is that a lot of them are constantly injured!
I see a bid of £600,000 has been rejected from Swansea. Presumably Wycombe would want...
This does smack of Jones 2019. For me this is a very risky move for us that really needs to pay off.
Of course I hope he succeeds but we’re in real trouble if he doesn’t.
I’d have preferred someone more experienced, but the manager market isn’t great at the moment. Our ready made replacement...
There has been a lot of opinions in terms of who could replace Edwards.
The favourite is Matt Bloomfield, who is doing a great job at Wycombe. His release clause is only £100,000. Probably too early for him to join Luton in this predicament.
Steve Cooper is probably my choice, but suspect...
A lot of money has been going back and forth at Luton this week.
Expected release clause for Rob Edwards - £1.5M.
Joe Taylor transfer fee from Huddersfield - £3M. I think that's a great deal for Luton, having signed him for £500K.
Isaiah Jones transfer fee to Middlesbrough - £3m initial rising...
Think it was an initial £6M plus add ons. Presumably one of which was making his debut for Ireland at Wembley recently. Signs of improvement for sure, but he’s not worth half that amount.
I actually wasn't getting at that. A loan is important if you have them long term or if you need to supplement certain areas with a view to getting into the play offs.
All we'd be doing is developing a player who has no chance of joining permanently to us, for another club.
I'd be a hypocrite...
I was thinking about potential replacements earlier. Perhaps it could be a good opportunity on a shortish term basis for someone like Alan McCormack to get a proper first go at management. I felt when he handled the academy last season there was some real progression which has stifled a little...
This video really makes me feel awful...
The comments are not called for. Edwards is a human being - and a thoroughly good one at that. And one that deserves a legacy that is remembered forever.
Yes, I don't want him to be managing our club any longer... I've said this consistently for a...
Signing Christ is a message of intent. Other worldly, I'd say.
I actually disagree that Ronnie Edwards would've been a good signing (right now). He was never going to turn down PL football, but Southampton have invested £3M into him only 6 months ago and aren't going to be interested in a loss...
I don’t know how we’re doing it, but we’re churning out these wins at home despite playing very average at best in every match (bar the Watford game).
Perhaps it’s an indictment of this league and some of the dross that’s hovering around the bottom half. Out of nothing they’re now up to 14th...
Jesus wept. "Short term deal" - are the club too embarressed to say he'll be here for the rest of the season?
I see we're also in for Marquinhos from Arsenal. Rumours of a substantial bid that have gone in a few days ago.
This is excellent news… it is the final hurdle in a process which started in 2016 on this site. It means that Luton have around 60 games left at Kenilworth Road.
The groundworks have been ongoing for some time - the stadium will likely start to be built in the first half of next year. This will...
I've thought about the January window a lot in the last few days. Of course, it is going to be impossible to overhaul the squad at such a time; but Luton do need more changes than normal.
For me, this needs to happen:
Cauley Woodrow - loan out, but still has 18 months on his deal left...
