Yeah I guess it was great to get revenge on them after they beat us over 2 legs in 2007. But they beat us because we were crap and they took advantage of that. They beat us fair and square, Swindon did not!
All of our players were drinking beer and champagne on Sunday.
I wouldn't be surprised if we drew this one. After the Lord mayor's show and all that...
If we win though then it'll be party time over Easter weekend :db:
Being a ST holder living in Southampton, following city has been a bit mental since Christmas with all of the fixtures. Feels I've been consistently watching two matches a week! The stamina the players must have is immense. It has been an absolute pleasure though and I look forward to tomorrow's...
I think Gillingham have improved massively over the last few months. They have had some great results beating teams at the top of the league. Also, we haven't got Matt Smith anymore who scored goals for fun against Gills.
Taking all of that into account, my prediction:
4-0 CITY :)
Like others have said. Derby in distance but in my opinion they isn't much of a rivalry between the two clubs. If there is, it would be Yeovil having ill-feeling towards City!
With that being said, if Yeovil cheat to get one of our players sent off in the first 5 minutes and then go on to beat...
Out of the these three away games, I would say that they were in the correct order of difficulty. Leyton orient was a real tough match with their form but we came through that. If we play like that again then we'll beat Crawley. But then we could do a Colchester again.
Best I've heard would be Stoke singing Delilah.
The season when it was us and them fighting for promotion to the premier league we had to go to the Britannia Stadium for what was an absolutely massive game. I think there was about 1500 city there and just before kick off we were making fair bit...
These are the types of games which we need to get results in if we are going to get promoted. Doncaster are a good side on their day so this will be tough. Will definitely take a point with a home match on Saturday but a win here would be absolutely massive IMO. March fixtures look favourable so...
big game this...really need to show our character after a setback on Saturday. I believe Posh will be better than when we played them on Sky earlier this season. But need to take advantage of these home matches and stretch our lead on Swindon. Could be 7 points clear of them tonight! COYR
