You wasted time all game and were clearly playing for a point. Usually wouldn't question such a thing, but we were clearly there for the taking and you need all the points you can get.
Two terrible teams, neither of which seemed particularly up for the game. Surprised at Sutton's lack of desire to win, given their league position, as we were absolutely there for the taking. As it was, keeper makes a mistake at the end and they go home empty handed.
Despite being shite, we've sold out Hollywood away, well done us... Suspect this is going to be a slightly weird trip there, as these games usually have a lot of edge, but our crowd will probably consist of a lot of our more passive season ticket holders who do one one away game a season, and...
Draw would have been fair, but it's not especially relevant in the grand scheme of things - we're destined for somewhere circa 12th, exactly the same as last year, albeit via a completely different route.
I've no idea what's up with us this year, we alternate absolute dross performances with hammering anyone called County whenever they rock up to Prenton Park. Best of luck to Stockport for the rest of the season, hope you win the league. And Ben Hinchcliffe is a class act - great sportsmanship...
We were absolutely dire, excluding the first ten minutes. Morecambe completely deserved the win and Adkins has some serious questions to answer about our tactics. Notable lack of desire once Morecambe equalised too - only one team was pushing for the winner.
He's actually a Tranmere fan - he's had a banning order since 2019 for pitch invading. Don't know him, but I was aware of his existence, mostly because he'd get thrown out of every away game (he had a home stadium ban so could only go away, and the full banning order was obviously only going to...
Shot ourselves in the foot, second was such a poor goal to concede, especially after coming out and bossing the start of the second half. Great equaliser from Hawkes. Donny looked organised if nothing else, and I assume the cheque's in the post for the six points we've gifted them this year...
One shot on target between both teams says it all. Crewe had the better of the first half, we were the better side in the second. Chances few and far between, excluding Hawkes attempting to gift Crewe the winner with a horrendous back pass. Thought Walker had won it at the end for us, but not to...
I mean it's only fair - Luke McGee literally handed you the easiest three points of the season at your place! As much as we do always beat you at home, and we're nowhere near as terrible as we were earlier in the season, we're very short up front. 1-0 either way might not be too bad a guess.
Bootham Crescent. I lived in York for a few years, the home terrace was a great stand to be in. Although less said the better about the uncovered away end with equally infamous toilet (a brick wall, also without roof).
Typical Swindon, if it's not the floodlights going out, it's the bloody weather(!) In fairness, I doubt we'd have been champing at the bit to play either - we're in desperate need of a striker and Swindon are in a complete mess. At least they called it off with plenty of notice, much rather that...
Horrible team, MK. Still, pressed us really well all game whilst we sat off and played for a point. Only one team deserved to win that. Dean Lewington is evidently immortal and put up a quality display against Rob Apter, class is permanent. Still very much what we round here would call a "narky...
I remember us discussing your lack of away wins what must be about five years ago - you're a bloody curse, Boz(!) I can't make Barra for a change, but if you can stay away from Swindon I'd appreciate it!
Barra away. Would be delighted as a point. Don't know who comes in for Apter now he's gone back, but we're in great form and Barra haven't lost at home all season - should be fun! Cue incredibly dull nil nil...
Loan finishes on Thursday. We're trying to either extend the loan or sign him permanently but nobody knows what's happening. He's already played for Blackpool this year, so if anybody else signed him in January, he wouldn't be available to play until next season due to the three clubs rule...
Oh you'd have to seriously fuck up to not make the play offs, although credit to Nigel and co on our account - if you'd played us a month ago, you'd have won 5-0 with very little effort. Sign any sort of a defence in January and you should be worthy of the autos.
Great game to watch. Was worried we'd ran out of legs after winning three games this week, with Notts passing it round for fun in the first half. Equaliser before half time was pivotal. Connor Jennings is firmly established as a club legend already, but was a missed penalty away from a hat trick...
