We are missing Ling, Joey Jones and a few bench players in addition to Mxcallum, Walker and Robinson.
Right time for Chesterfield to play us. Our bench is full of kids and a loanee from Aldershot who hasn’t scored all season but trialled with us in the summer. Lump on the Spireites.
Good and bad time to be playing Chesterfield. Their injury list gives us hope but then I think us missing McCallum, Walker and from what I hear Matt Robinson has racked up a 1 game ban for 5 yellow cards. 3 huge players to be missing. Going to need a very very good performance to get anything...
Tough game away to Halifax but the sort we have to grind up if we want to be right up there. If not, then I imagine we’ll be more in the battle for 7th.
Not had many draws this season so I’ll go for the 1-1.
What was worrying from your point of view is that we were in 2nd gear for most of yesterday. We came to life for 20 minutes or so in which we scored 3 goals and your keeper pushed one onto the bar. First half was a scrappy affair where we weren't at it. After the goals, we relaxed and just...
Just had a look at the league table. Amazed Rusk is still in a job. 10 goals in 11 games with the resources they have! Just to put that in context, that's 3 less than Aldershot, 4 less than Weymouth and half of what Woking have.
On another note, Bromley have won 6 in a row in the league...
Sounds like refs have had their fun tonight. Fair few friends of mine raging at the ref’s performance in our game. Very soft pen and gave us nothing all night.
Lost 3 in 4 now and need a result to get back on track!
Credit Altrincham. Goal against the run of play first half and we then battered them for 40 minutes as they sat in.
2nd half, they pushed up and battered us in return. Caught us cold with the change in mentality and they’d hit the post twice before scoring.
A good side.
I actually think Searle did the best with his limited resources. He managed to turn Harry Pan into a double figures striker. Overall, I thought he did reasonably well to keep you relatively out of trouble the last 2 years. Not to say he’s been outstanding but I do think he’s had a pretty shit...
Game of 2 halves. Wrexham schooled us first half. We knocked and knocked on the door second half. Didn’t score any of our umpteen chances whereas Mullin hit the top corner with his.
Will see what we’re made of when we host a strong Solihull side next week. Champions bounce back.
Will take a draw today. Sounds like we were far from our best. Some good moments going forward but slapdash at the back whilst Wealdstone sounded dangerous on the counter. Take the point, get out and try and get 1-2 of the injured players back in the next week.
