Did very well at Brentford, started well at Wigan and if he wins those Play-offs it's a different story, of course last season was a complete cock up. Could be a good appointment for Leeds, but while ever Cellino is chairman they wont be going anywhere fast, and no manager will last long under him.
The best ones I can remember are probably the 2-1 win at the Lane with the Tudgay screamer to complete the double, then the 2 in the Promotion season were very memorable for different reasons. Would give anything to go the Wembley semi final in 93, watching the highlights of the game it should...
Currently Charlie Austin, scored goals at every level for a number of years now. However Danny Ings is younger and may well develop better than Austin.
Definitely not manager of the year but he's fulfilled his objective from August which was to get United back in the top 4, next season the bar will be raised.
I agree that Doncaster Rovers ground has to be the most boring away experience I've been too, the location has nothing around it apart from a few overpriced food stalls, the ground is a soulless bowl with no atmosphere. The only few Donny fans that sing are a handful of chavs and a bird in a red...
Looks like the first cost cutting decision for QPR, I expect a lot of big name players out the door this summer replaced with far less known ones, not always a bad thing of course. To be fair to Ramsey he got them playing far better than Redknapp did, can sort of see why he's been given it...
Very brave taking on the club at such a young age, can't see it ending very well to be honest. He's getting a poor reputation now, and if he forced a move to a Real Madrid for example he'd be a bench warmer mainly. Not a great career move this.
I can definitely see the SPL being expanded, the league needs all the bigger clubs like Rangers, Hearts and Hibernian in there financially. The last few years have been awful, this season wasn't quite as bad with Abderdeen at least pushing Celtic a little bit. Having Rangers in will only...
An update on the Maidenhead United career, into January now made it through a hectic Christmas schedule without crazy injury problems thankfully and will definitely be looking at bringing in some quality to bolster the squad trying to stay within the wage budget which has £250 a week left...
The new Scottish play-off format makes it more interesting definitely, more change in the SPL will make it better in my opinion but it needs all of it's big clubs back up there.
