Interesting appointment, seems to have managed a number of very big clubs. It's a gamble to change something that wasn't broken but his experience could be vital for Watford next season, then again he's never managed in England so questions will be asked.
No I have a season ticket and go to pretty much every away game, fair enough it wasn't great to watch at times but we made progress and with the budget we had it's hard to bring in the quality at the top end of the pitch to play entertaining football. I hope it changes next season.
He might have learnt from his experience at Barnet and come back stronger, or he might be absolute dog shit and be sacked by November. Either way it looks like the cheap option.
The away form was exceptional though, I think he deserves the chance to get it sorted at the top end of the pitch now. If he can get the attack as good as the defence we'll piss the league.
No idea why United have only just made this decision, it should have been made after the play off game if they knew they were making a change. I think it's probably the right decision, spending £1.5M on a right back while you're still in League One was a ridiculous idea even if he is the worlds...
Pleased Preston have made it, good away day with an excellent allocation of tickets. Far better than going all the way down to Swindon, think Preston will survive but they'll need to strengthen the Championship is a massive step up.
McClaren still claiming it was the club ultimately making the decision and not him engineering a move to Newcastle, it's disappointing for Derby to lose him because of his name and ability to attract players, plus the fact he's on the whole done a very good job. Next appointment is so important...
Gray has done a good job with us, progressed us from last season and has worked on a shoestring this year. However that changes now and I doubt 13th place will be considered acceptable next season.
Well done Norwich City, Alex Neil has done a fantastic job since he came in and has got the best out of a very talented squad which Neil Adams didn't quite seem to be doing. I think they'll be fine next season with a few clever additions over the summer, they've got momentum on their side and...
Thought the QPR disaster would tarnish his reputation but what a job he's done there over the last 2 years. Got them playing good football, some very good players and all without spending crazy amounts of money. Should be a contender for manager of the season.
Hull just haven't been good enough over 38 games, their summer business didn't look bad on paper but it's not worked out and the lack of options upfront this season has hindered them. Next season they should be strong in the Championship though, strong finances and a decent manager in charge.
So important they survived yesterday, hearing Mike Ashley before hand was refreshing as he's never been as positive since he's been there, and if he can back up his words with actions it could be a good summer for Newcastle United.
Surprised he's not being kept on, did a great job getting you promoted but fair play to your board for not overspending. At lest this is the best time to make a change, new man can come in and bring his own players in this summer.
Things have been going extraordinarily well with Maidenhead United, couldn't really be going any better. Just played through the January window and managed to bolster the squad in what I felt was the weakest area, central midfield. Pulled off a coup signing midfielder George Miller from...
Congratulations Southend, was thoroughly expecting them to go into the play offs on a complete downer and throw it away in the semis. Great character to bounce back though and the players and Phil Brown deserve great credit. Think they'll adjust fairly well to League One and while Brown is in...
