Our new away kit.

We drew 1-1 in a behind closed doors friendly with Bristol City, with a trialist scoring our goal.

No snazzy press release but we were wearing our new home kit in the Swansea friendly. Its not as bad as I was expecting, its only the lines on the shoulders that I don't like. The away kit is being revealed later in the month.

Seems one of our trailists, and the only one to start the friendly against Swansea, is 22 year old CM Sessi D'Almeida, recently released by Blackpool.

Lost 2-1 to Swansea in our first friendly, first team played the first half and were 1 up at half time through Jordan Green, second half 6 trialists and a couple youth team players came on.

We've signed goalkeeper Nathan Baxter on loan from Chelsea, was on loan at Woking last season and won their player of the year award. He has replaced Jonny Maddison who has joined Darlington on a free.

We do have an academy which restarted when we got relegated to league 2, but haven't offered any of the graduates pro contracts. Instead we seem to be trying to get meet the rule by trying to sign Craig Alcock who came through the academy in 2005.
